I started taking these nodes because the Aura Effect provides really good Energy Shield and also a little damage so in my oppinion its better to take that then just take pure ES nodes. (The 14% Aura Effect is better than 2x 6% Nodes)

I really would not say that a Hubris+ lvl 4 enlighten would be BiS. You would lose levels on Auras and lots of Evasion. You would gain a maximum of 200ES and thats if you buy a Mirror Quality Hubris with 540 ES and lose 1 level on Hatred, HoI and Disciplin + 700 Evasion. (compared to a perfect Vertex with 348ES)

Thats what i did :)
Picked Influence, with 20% increased effect, i gained nice ES and some DPS. And with one 4% reduced reservation node beofre Influence, everything is fine.

Yes, leveling with aura nodes is so good. And yes :) The Vertex really is great. My next step is craft a Vagan dagger and then, try to remplace Loyal in Carnal Armour, but Loyal is great too, doing T12 with no problems.

Did CI on lvl 64, and at lvl 67, im siting at 8.2k ES, with 6 power charges Cyclone DPS is 2400, Bladefall 7200 and Knives is around 6300.
Critical strike chance without boots enchant is 85%, with enchant on around 94%, crit multi is 270% for all skills.

Next plan is to replace(upgrade) shield with some with minimum 450 ES, get Diamond Rings with similar resist (one is enough probably) and finale get crystal belt with 115-120ES. In the end mastercraft for dagger ofc.

I tweaked my tree for more dps at lvl 67, and will tweak more, cuz i think around 9.5-10k ES(my plan) is more than enough, i mean 8.2 is allready enough :)Probably i`ll cut one jewel spot(2 nodes) and those nodes for flask eff(i found it not that important earlier on similar char), and those 5 nodes i`ll probably spend on Adder`s Touch. With those 5 nodes, total bonus is 90% crit multi(which is insane), 60% crit chance, 22% phys dps and free poison(cosmetic gain) :)

Probably strongest/fastest clearing char i ever played.

So Trickster or Assassin? Or just better off going Cospri Discharge?

I am pretty sure that i also did a pretty detailed rundown of pro and con of Assassin vs. Trickster somewhere in here but i cant find it atm.

Short Version: Trickster is more fun and better for mapping and clearspeed, Assassin is better Singletarget damage but more expensive.

Tweaked the low life version a bit, added more ES and reworked the skill tree without loosing much damage. Not much that can kill me now, build feels veeery strong. I can still get triple prefix es gear for about 1K more es. And leech enchant on boots will also add some more defense.

What do you make of the new upcoming Unique Jewel - Ring of Blades for EK?

Here is a demo using Sire of Shards since its similar in effect.
Go to 0:23 mark for EK simulation.

I think it will be interesting to test out with this build, it fits nicely in
the jewel slot next to Vaal Pact. Taking some nodes for %increased projectile speed
may give it a nice AOE on par with Bladefall. The helmet enchant + the Ballistic Mastery
node below Vaal Pact gives 50% increased proj.speed together.

Keep in mind that any ammount of Projectile speed will kill you during Atziri fight because they will hit the Mirror.

But i guess the jewel could be nice for clearspeed, i don´t think it will be a massive change but nice to have for sure.
