It's personal preference. If you're comfortable playing without vision then you don't need to take it (and thus gain a passive point).

If you feel you need the vision, then take it.

this build just BOOMING when you can sustain mana for 20 stack BV without mobs around.
Crazy strong . Thing that can not kill you in one hit ( hello uber Izario) you can instantly leech back to full ES.
Expensive build but worth it.

I've done them on stream. I'll see about making a 4 guardian compilation for Youtube soon. I find Hydra to be the real pain in the ass, quite annoying for melee/pseudo melee.

Hello. Currently followed this build but got issue - dps is sitting at 15k without flasks, could anyone please enlighten me what I'm doing wrong? Maybe gems are too low lvls (respecced my old witch, but would this make a let's say 10k diff? Or they nerfed BV so hard.. (very unlikely I think)?

I notice in all your videos u use shield charge instead of whirling blades? But in your guide you put whirling blades... so...

Level those gems. Should help out a bit.
