{3.0} Necronomicon / Raise Spectre Monster Info...[The Unofficial Minion Wiki]

So are there no notable Chaos Damage mobs to specter or do we simply ignore them based on not benefiting from Elemental Equilibrium or notable way to buff chaos dmg?

There are no chaos spectre that can contend with the current elemental choices in terms of damage, tankiness, and AI.

If you want Chaos go physical => chaos added damage.

Maybe undying alchemists but why intentional gimp your damage?

Thanks for the quick reply! Appreciate the insight.

Since your guide has been immensely helpful, I wanted to offer some notes on some very quick testing on the Solaris Champions.

While it appears it is correct that they summon a crap ton of animate weapons that seemingly last forever, the animate weapons that they spawn appear to be very easily bugged out (or maybe intentional behavior?). Went into a map with them and the animate weapons that were all summoned were quite impressive sitting summoned at the entrance but that's all they did. They were never resummoned at any point for the rest of the map and never moved with the spectered Champions to assist in attacking.

So overall, the weapons appeared neat to make a fun looking army but didn't do anything.

Right now, an army of animate weapons are sitting in a random furthest corner of my hideout for some unknown reason and nothing I do can make them move.

Hmmmm. Seems like the same behavior as lunar devotees. They summon a whole bunch of ice golems but they do nothing.

Good info! I'll need to find the time to read through some of the past comments these past few days and incorporate some of the info into the guide.

i dont know if we're looking at this wrong guys but based on exp, the mobs on maps is almost close to random unless there's a suffix for the map w/c in this case is still not a 100% spawn for solar guards :(

how do you guys get your higher tier SG? just luck? lol
Shaped race course and shaped promenade has been 100% for me.

I ran an absolute ton of race course, like 30+ per day at least. And they spawn every time I want to grab them using the desecrate trick.

Hi, I'd just like to take a moment of your time to talk about your lord and saviour, Chrome-Infused Chimerals. Did you know they have barrage, pierce, fast projectiles (as in, I have no idea how many screens away that they clear because it's too far), added cold damage and are readily available in many colours as long as it's Chrome-Infused silver? Available on coves, terrace, high gardens and many more (to be confirmed)!

Current links: minion damage, gmp for clear/cold pen for boss, iron grip (if baron)/wed, ice bite and then whatever you want if you're happy with your 6l.

Whack on some grips of the council and hatred, haste and you too could have hyped-up, CHROMED, frenzied, safe, cold spectres. (terms and conditions apply)





Bullshit aside try them out they're amazing.
So it's my first time playing a summoner style character. Can someone try to give a "i'm an idiot" explanation to the "Raise Spectre and Desecrate (How to raise high level spectre easier)" section of the guide?

I've tried copying the steps as a means of getting the specific specters I want (even specifically flame sentinels as the section mentions) but when I open a map and then desecrate inside it, the corpses will always be limited to the subset of mobs that are within the map. I've taken into account to make sure the map didn't roll the affix to limit the mob type.

Is the requirement specific to map tier? Map tileset? Map type? I've looked up variations of the instructions for this but there seems to be indication that I could open up any map of any tier and have it work but i've been unable to do it.

So how does the DoT orb that they shoot out work? Do they stack DoTs?

When I tried them, I might be blind but I never saw the specter version shoot out those orbs. I'm assuming those homing orbs that do infinity damage to you if you don't move.
