Undying Labourer, the ones without the extra cold damage afix

These spawn a siege ballista type thing that shoots ice shot, GMP/LMP doesn't work on it.
they hit with glacial hammer

I find that the operator ball attack seems to have a really long and annoying cooldown. They also seems to deal less damage when stationary and have meh AoE.

I found them quite good actually (echo for 2 orbs and they stack, wrath works).
But up to T14 they never spawned in any map, so useless.

Tried them all. Could be unlucky, but the other undying spawn all correctly.


Currently using this:

cold firestorm and spam projectile spell.
Also, with spell echo my hideout is filled with ice golems (3 or 4 * #spectre).
But they are bugged and don't follow or expire.
You can portal out & in as a workaround in a boss room though.
Projectile spell is quite strong, but for me unusable as my fps drops fast with a GMP connected.
Can be desec. in most maps.

In which map can I find Alpine Shamans please ?

Encountered them yesterday , since I just started mapping and they were pretty cool. However, game crashed the next map and I lost them.

I am having a hard time finding the right ranged dps spectres once I get home from work and want to start mapping.

What are you guys doing before starting your session ? Any locations where should I always look first ?

Read the first page people.
Find the base location via (f.e): http://poedb.tw/us/mon.php?n=Alpine+Shaman
Raise them there, then play any map without monster type mods and try to desecrate them there.
There's a good chance it will work right away to get a better lvl spectre, though you sometimes need to desecrate 20+ times before one shows up. If this doesn't work you either need to try a different map (with same tile-set as where you got them from) or a map with a specific mod (f.e. humanoids). I usually go straight to Shaped racecourse and most spawn there without issue.

The arctic breath variant is useless.
The barrage+blast rain variant is quite strong.
But it suffers from having a default attack + mediocre AI (close range).
One shot with GMP can clear a whole pack though.

i have a question about the baron.
Is this usefull for spectres?

melee spectre -> + strength? Should.
distance spactre -> + strength? I don´t know, but i think no.

Am I right?

3.0.1e had a few nice changes, but probably biggest one in regards to summoners is that they improved minion pathfinding. Anyone notice any better pathfinding post-patch?

Currently playing an Wither CWC Animate Weapon with Specters and Im looking for a good chaos damage specter.

I've been playing with the Ancient Constructs but wondering if there's a better option.
