[2.6] The Curse Whisperer - Tri-Curse CI Whispering Ice Elementalist - Viable for Everything
" Did you actually get hit by the reflect after the first time? |
|
" Yeah, but you still need to utilize a freeze flask regardless. And you can have 10k + ES (once you find an epic chestpiece for this build) and you will still get frozen upon opening strongboxes. The belt's utility is negligible and not worth the extra ES and resists you can acquire through the new crystal belt base type. "Good thing they nerfed the carto, it wasn't fun to find one in every map." - Haborym Последняя редакция: monkuar#2123. Время: 19 сент. 2016 г., 05:28:15

Guys
Can i get a 5L 6S armour? Seems arctic armour doesnt need to be chained right? |
|
" Yeah actualy around 1ex but seriously 1ex is nothing for end game helmet who boost so much your ES/Damage with +1 skill who allow you to use level 1 enlighten and make your discipline level 21 or 22, especialy when everything else in this build is so cheap. " Yes that's why this build is cheap, 6s weapon, 5l6s body armour. But have fun for 3b1r1g and 1g on the no linked socket :D Последняя редакция: RoCKeTs#2072. Время: 19 сент. 2016 г., 07:50:45

Hi guys,
got a question regarding to uberlab. I've made a try yesterday. 1st izaro phase was fine, the second one, I've been one shot in the start of the fight with his wave (radiant slash). Got 6,7k es for the moment. What is your technique to fight him ? I'm going to test: granite flash with 70% more armor mod when active + basalt and try to facetank him (with this 2 flask up got around 53% reduce physical damage). In regard of the DPS of the build he can die pretty fast. Is it viable or do we have to dodge and learn his pattern with a chance to be one shot sometimes ? Thanks for your answers ! |

question: what level enlighten i need to use the 3th aura?

this standard build is so bad and not tanky at all, good leech will get u oneshoted anyway and the belt is the most worthless piece of shit.

" I'm a bit casual in this league, so don't expect a Shaper kill within a week. :) Going thru the maps methodically unlocking them all while leveling. You can level to 80 in the Dried Lake in no time, but I rather enjoy all those new maps with new bosses. I'll catch up to lv 91-94 quickly when I get to T15 and will have 20/20 gems by then as well. " OCC would be a totally different play style, more like Firestorm. Dodging instead of facetanking. Your ES is never full while facetanking, and no amount of ES regen can save you from the endgame bosses. OCC would also lack DPS badly. There is an OCC WI build, but I don't see it being efficient as the endgame. " I also noticed that this item attracted the attention of 'pro' flippers who run continuous search for it, insta-snatch anything cheap and then list it for 1ex+. F those guys. Do not pay them, flip a finger to them instead. The difference between 14% and 15% is about 10 Int (depending on your particular situation). 13-14% is fine. Good luck to the flippers trying to buy out all of those. " You are doing it wrong. Roll the staff manually until you get 5S which is very easy. Then use that staff and buy ANOTHER ONE which you can roll in hopes for 6S. You will want 2 staves to hot swap eventually anyway. And when you have Vorici leveled up it's more reliable to use him than to rely on RNG. " Leap Slam is used to get TO the enemy and proc Fortify. The play style description in the guide is quite clear, no? Why would you want to leap out of a flameblast anyway? You can eat Uber Atziri's flameblast (see the video). The only flameblast you want to get out of is Atziri's giant twin blast, but it's slow enough to just dodge on foot. People who play the build wrong and then complain about it never cease to amuse me. Especially when they complain about the things that the guide does not say at all. " Tried them. Not worth it. A high rolled Izaro or a 4-mod rare is better and costs a LOT less than those lab jewels. If the people who monopolize the lab ladder and claim them every single day were lees greedy, those jewels could be considered an alternative to medium Izaros. " Icestorm chilled ground works regardless of the disabled status ailments, it's a separate effect. But every single one of the T16 bosses is immune to chill, and so is Uber Atziri. Also, Hypothermia is already inferior to every gem we use in the staff for DPS. " The hearts are hard to target, you need to find a spot near them to cast Icestorm. " The Scion version is viable, although I haven't done the Shaper with her yet. The Scion version is better with AoF+CtF, although the difference is not big. You are using only 2 curses though, I don't know if that's viable for T16 or not. Your boots need upgrading too. " I haven't noticed any changes to the Volcano boss. It's trivial to me, no need for any special prep/flasks. The standard 'roflstomp' approach works fine. Did you have some unusual mods perhaps? " TC is still great and helpful against the T16 bosses and Rigwald. Not sure about the Shaper though, he's kinda like Atziri in that his attacks are not about speed. So that one remains to be seen. I haven't done him without TC and can't say how much worse he'd be. " Auxium is very important unless you are really, really pro-active with flasks. It's a great QoL thing for those of us who don't have fast fingers. I know the new crystal belts are tempting. But the Shaper does LOTS of cold damage, and so does the Hydra. I have not tried them without Auxium and cannot say for sure though if that's a good idea. One of the reasons I chose to try Inquisitor for this league is his immunity to ele status ailments (on consecrated ground, which he creates all the time) that solves the Auxium vs Crystal dilemma for that class. But that's still an experiment. " Lv 2 " You clearly don't understand how this build works or how to play it properly. You can stop embarassing yourself now. Go play BV CoC or something. " You got him with the charges? That's the worst possible buff you can let him have. The video in the top post actually has him with max charges, but you need to be super careful about facetanking him on a day when he has charges. You need 7.5k ES or more to facetank him with max charges, and you also must keep Fortify up. Much easier to just not let him get the charges and get 1 less key.. Touch the charge disruptors. Kelvynn, do you have experience with the reflect of the Racecourse boss? I asked it earlier but didn't seem people had a concrete answer whether our leech was good enough to not have to worry about it.
