How has Mjolner builds been destroyed?

Reason?
-There is now a 0.1 second limit to the trigger of each spell attached to Mjolnir and this was not written in the game patch because Bex_GGG admitted that it was a last minute change. Most Mjolnir users could reach 30 hits per second effortlessly, which is why the 100% chance is meaningless to them!

The fact that each hit triggers a discharge at 100% chance means that a Mjolnir user can no longer accumulate charges before discharging. The exact mechanics causing it to be much weaker than before involves much more complicated reasoning due to the way this game is designed.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, a top Mjolnir user posted a youtube video of himself getting owned on a 50 exalts worth Mjolnir build.I shall not post the video here because that makes name and shame.

FINALLY, if a GGG player with nearly 20K forum posts did not even bother explain to you it could just mean that you are missing out obvious stuff or stuff that are too complicated to explain. Think about that.

The amount of posts someone has made means nothing. Absolutely nothing. And the fact you explained everything shows it can be explained. The fact it was not in the patch notes about the cool down was my biggest argument. So nothing to think about.

Great response until that last para which made absolutely no sense.

so if i'm getting this right, as long as you do not attack more than 10 times per second, you won't even know there is s cooldown?

Why not build a char around that knowledge?

being able to cast any triggerable lightning spell 10 times per second - even as a 3L with extra chain - doesn't sound bad to me.

i mean, i imagine it sucks to have sunk extreme amounts of currency in a build just to have it nerfed, but just because the discharge was hit by a nerfhammer doesn't mean mjolnir is still a freakishly good item.

Correct, but that is still a heavy nerf. Because of the one cast per trigger event. In other words you used to be able to get multiple casts per attack. Now you cant.

I see. I haven't looked very much into this kind of build. Wouldn't a well supported single spell, with specificly chosen global supports from other gear be as good in some ceses? i mean, even unsupportet skills can be insane if build right, but two sockets for a support rather than two other spells? ... can't be all that bad.

Plus you don't have to focus as heavily on attackspeed anymore since 10 APS is max

What you are suggesting is exactly the way players played Mjolnir before the undisputed 'Thor Rainbownuke ' build was invented which has been destroyed by this Mjolnir change.

It was not bad for a build but compared to 'Thor Rainbownuke' it was not even half as strong. Many of us tried to improve the 'default' way of playing Mjolnir but we could not get anything decent. You can try proving us wrong by burning some currencies to build one yourself. =)

Why 'Thor Rainbownuke' is sickening is because of several principles this game is based on. Attack speed modifiers affect overall damage much better than damage modifiers do in this game due to the scaling in this game.This makes going above 10 APS a benefit for every build in this game. Secondly, the main generator for attack speed-Blood Rage-provides frenzy charges and makes the build even more devastating and frenzy charge so happens to help discharge deal more damage.

Lastly, endurance charge which also helps discharge so happens to improve player defenses. This causes Thorrainbow nuke to be the ONLY build in this game whereby offense and defense are taken care of by a single investment.

I therefore strongly disbelieve that you can come up with anything that can beat 'Thor Rainbownuke by going below 10 APS'

You're forgetting RF builds.
