Yesterday we revealed Tulborn, from the Breach League. Here is the upgraded version: Tulfall
" I would upgrade it for the challenge and then let it sit in my stash. Frenzy charge on hit while bleeding boots are much better. :D Theorycrafter/Build Creator for PORTAL guild

" Saying that we would have 6 power charges and 8 frenzy, this wand would give on average 45-75 cold damage (3 power) and 88% increased cold damage (from 8 frenzy) and 11% cast speed mod. Statwise its an average wand. Other reasons, blood dance regen probably (maybe with zo and/or eb). Generating frenzy charges for other reason then staying at max.. 1 max p charge, volls crit barrage frenzy discharge, i suppose. |

The upgrade of this wand is a downgrade... I don't get it.
Can still use the original I guess :p |

" Void battery with a marylene's fallacy on assassin was my best character last league by far so I think they are already possible, and I'm still fairly sure if you were doing that build the base wand is better than the upgrade :/ |

recently did a review of this wand with a guild mate. I think this wand isn't as bad. At some point it is comparable to void batteries in terms of damage.
Testing it on very expensive build, im pretty positive that it can overcome void batteries, thou have yet to reach that point to prove. Doing it on ice spear build, since it's the only skill which u can cap crit without p charges and compare it side by side to void battery, other than that i do believe that it could be used on cold to fire double dip ignite builds (from frenzy charges), but i wasn't particularly interested in them. If i will keep being active ingame, will post the results in week or two. Or will just do the math. Последняя редакция: Andrius319#4787. Время: 5 февр. 2017 г., 17:49:02

Looks sick. Except it's missing ES stats.

" yeah, im finding that troubling as well. Currently at 5.6k es and ~7k es is expected with better rares with costs within reason, thou that's still low. Will try to pull of some shenanigans to fix it :P |

Ok. did some math, will save up quite some time this way.
The fallowing wall of text will compare dual wield void battery versus dual wield tulfall in damage regard on ice spear build. vs Did calculations on both and have completed void battery version to check how of or accurate calculations are. The results were surprisingly even with 0,5% damage difference in favor of tulfall. void skill tree: poeurl.com/2nC tulfall skill tree: poeurl.com/2nD void build modifiers: 735% increased damage (tree, gems' quality, gear, jewels) 81% cast speed this is 15,1135 of base damage 479% crit multi after all other same modifiers (same gems, low life, herald)- estimated tooltip- 170k second form- 250k after hypothermia- 348k in practice tooltip was 156k which isn't that far (thou could not find source of difference). This is accurate enough to rely on. Now, tulfall modifiers: 591% increased damage 78% cast speed 28% more damage from 7 frenzies this is 15,743 of base damage 440% crit multi 60 extra added damage from average 1.5 power charge (before damage effectiveness) after all other same modifiers (...)- estimated tooltip- 121k second form- 252k after hypothermia- 350k With similar rare amulet its 1,7% more. So yeah, final numbers are surprisingly even, althou tulfall gear seems less practical due even smaller es pool, but maybe with other charge generation it would be more realistic to play with. From practice side void setup has longer uptime, but tulfall variant offers easier charge up and starts charging with caped crit which is very convenient, althou void version build has more freeze duration which makes harder to chose. Finally i think that this tulfall variant is more beginner friendly since with no low life and no skyforth setup u have invest A LOT less than to void version. The other thing to consider would be 1 wand wield + shield which i believe would be better with tulfall, since damage increase loss would be 144% and 30 flat and 15% cast speed, while voids loses 235% and 20% cast speed and appears uncapped crit chance issue. Next probably will look into double dip ignite variant on some other skill. |
