With all the loots around after a huge clear in an area, is GGG still wanted to me pick currency items one by one? :(

I clear a map in 3 minutes and i spend another 3 picking up the shit, make no sense.

That's one of the things Diablo 3 did well in implementing. I liked the fact that if you clicked one gem for example, it would auto loot all of them in a specific radius. It'd be nice to have some smart auto-looting filters for currency items and such.

The problem is D3 had personalized loot, and PoE does not. In party play, this would be a disaster in practice.
I spend on average 15 seconds picking up loot on t11+ rare maps. I don't see why you're having the problem. Maybe the fact that you're picking up identification scrolls? Is that what's taking 3 minutes?

that may be one of the very few things i can agree with about D3.

D2 -> D3 -> D3:RoS

Gold, Runes, and Jewels started off as single click items in D2. Damn was that annoying.

D3 took a look at gold and said that really is annoying. thus gold pick up radius was made. you just ran over the gold and picked it up with a radius. however... gems were still a click click click sort of thing.

D3:RoS took a look at that and said rejoice all you lazy couch potatos, all you that dont want to develop arthritis (or already have it), and even those that just love your mouses too much to click it to death. the gems got that smart pick up. you click and any other of that type of item in the immediate area got picked up too. it was great.

for D3 loot these things worked great. i think that if we did have something of a small aoe around our character that auto picks up currency it would be great. there really is no reason for a smart pick up system as described above like is used in D3. about the only time you would really get multi drops significant enough like that is boxes. which if we had an auto pick up aoe you could just run past or around the box and it would do the same thing. right?
Got to look at psychology of addiction here. You get more endorphins out of an action that is rewarded rather than a passive reward. Might be a minor issue to you at this point, but the act of picking up loot is what got you where you are today... totally addicted to this game. You've moved on to stronger actions and are no longer feeling the reward for picking up wisdom scrolls, but it's likely you'd not be playing this game if they didn't start you out picking up loot. You just wouldn't have gotten hooked.
I mean... most of what drops isn't worth picking up. Even some "currency" items, like transmutes/armourer's/Blacksmiths, etc.

GGG sends us mixed messages all the time such as:

1. Create powerful builds and clear fast but don't get xp fast.
2. Create powerful builds that one or two-shot mobs but we'll still spank you hard
    occasionally with one-shot death traps (uber map bosses) and reflect map mod
    no matter how skillful you are at creating a tank build.
3. Play any skill you want but don't play the super laggy ones. GGG nerfs laggy skills
    so fewer play them and thus there is less server processing load.
    (explains why DB is useless in Breaches)
4. We (GGG) highly encourage you to trade but we don't want to make it fun and painless.
    (trading must be difficult and undesirable to do)

5. Farm for currency all you want but we'll keep the inventory size small so that
    you are severely throttled on your farming efforts.

Just about all that goes into PoE is done from the perspective of delaying everything. So higher speed and increased pack sizes leads to higher quantity of loot dropped but easy muling of gear is forbidden. It's what they do.

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

completely agreed , there is no reason why my inventory shouldn´t be as big as a stashtab by now
or even better , have an orb counter in the inventory along with scrolls.
and make the inventory at least 4 times bigger so dont have to stash / vendor after every portal.

the reason they don´t want an AH , is because either incompetent to implement it or b: in cahoots with the you know who people.
