Just about all that goes into PoE is done from the perspective of delaying everything. So higher speed and increased pack sizes leads to higher quantity of loot dropped but easy muling of gear is forbidden. It's what they do.


Most players play for frenetic action. Frenetic action need speed. Speed everything will finish content fast.

My opinion about: Frenetic action bring players - keep frenetic. Frenetic action need speed - keep speeding. Game content need grow - improvement is slow. Support solution: put obstacles between players and game content to slow players. Result: fast and furious game with obstacles to finish the content (like more grind, more management and/or $$$, etc) to trespass. Work for most players.

Game is good, but I think improve this game is a challenge for developers too.

Most games even reach in this stage, so this is a point for POE. But need go beyond this.
For the replies i see i guess u guys had no issue on one im having.

1) Using a lootfilter hides items you dont need and highlight items u need. right?

2) A screen aoe cleared full with items.

3) Now the screen only shows the items u want to pick up.

4) Click it, and your char walk one sceen distance to pick up that time.

5) And u want to go back and take a look which item u wan to pick up again.

Would I be alone if I suggested there should be a zana mod that disables all loot drops in favor for 100% pack size and 300% xp?
I pick up all the currency that drops, /remaining = 0?

Except PoE does not have individual loot so that would just be used to grief people in party so no it isnt feasible.

I'm implying low level orbs become obsolete and most rares will be vendor trash. Half the game is about loot, the issue is that the loot is worthless most of the time.

There is also a lot of builtin time sinks like the entire ID-process and the amount of inventory management forced upon the player due to tiny inventory space.

I gess worthless loot is important as you can get some alts out of it if nothing else...
The fact that most of the loot is bad is an annoyance that have no solution: If the game had too much not worthless loot, that would mean the definition of what is "good" would change because everybody would have better gear and what is decent now would move down to being worthless, so you just pushed the power creep bar a little higher
The ID process is not wortless because not everybody chooses to ID stuff before selling it(especially rare amy and rings)
I do agree that the inventory space is irritatingly small, although i can also see that it is intentional as it is an indirect way to punish deaths on rare maps.
