Eh, I made it to Merc Dried Lake in 7 hours last league and I fucked up my Normal. I'm hoping to be less retarded this time around.

If I go EK, I'll mitigate reflect by either going Elementalist and converting a portion of the damage with Phys to Lightning + Vinktar's, or by leeching Chaos using Ming's Heart with Atziri's Promise. I'm assuming the first option is the better one, but it'll be more expensive for sure.

I might go life-based and use tabula until I can buy enough Ethereal cards to get a 6L Vaal Regalia.

Bladefall totems into EK eventually.

Prolly gonna start with a bow. Maybe bow slayer?

Btw, does anyone know if the scourge claw would benefit from the new mon'tregul's grasp more multi? Never played with the scourge before so i dunno if zombie increases count as minion increases.

Only generic "minions deal x% increased damage" modifiers will apply to you, nothing else.

pizza totems for a few days then fire burst+ball of lightning really would rather not do totems but getting a hysteria in the first few days seems like it'd be difficult

non crit pizza totem hierophant for cheap 5links, and farming some currency, then dual flame totem marauder for lab farming

95% of the population seems to gonna do Pizza Totems... for some reason... so I'm gonna do something different :)

Sure, and thats fine. I'd still advise someone to actually try out that character before comitting to it before the league.

But i still cant understand why people play RF totems. I am not a teen with ADHD or anything, i have an attention span that is quite long. But RF totems? Made me want to scoop out my eyeballs with a rusty spoon.

But to each his own.

Well I'll be doing RF totems and I actually agree with you about they eyeball scooping. The reason they're nice to me though is a fairly seemless transition to actual RF down the road. Just doing RF as a starter build isn't the best of ideas. Totems starts at 38 iirc and RF 68.

So I'll just grin and bear it.
