I believe presence of chayula amulet is a staple for low life builds due to the insane amount of life converted to total ES. Also it gives stun immunity which is very noticeable in high tier maps if you don't have it. By using this amulet you will have to spec into vile bastion to get stun immunity and not having withering presence means you lose quite a bit of damage as well as withering utility. So no, solstice vigil is not worth it.

Also I have come to a conclusion that temp chain really isn't as strong as it has always been, and it's not required anymore. In fact, it's competition has been very stiff with the introduction of Sand Stance as well as a choice for a 7th aura slot.

Tested with Dread Banner, lowering accuracy of mobs is a great layer of defense and more consistent than Vaal Grace. If you dislike Temp Chain aura or want to see which combination is better, Sand Stance + Dread Banner for the 2 gem slots. Coupled with Enfeeble and Quartz flask, we have a decent chance to avoid being hit by attacks.

Yes, now it's DoT multiplier. This includes poison, cold, fire, etc as well, not just chaos dmg.

I played ED Contagion Trickster a lot in 3.7.
Now, I am coming back to this build for 3.8, with Occultist.

Hey, is anyone else having issues running Zealotry and Vaal Discipline with Blood Magic + Enlighten 4? Having taken all the Reduced Mana Reserved Nodes that are allocated in the PoB it still doesn't quite check out, with Zealotry reserving around 61% and VD reserving about 42%? Is there any additional node I have to take for this setup in particular?

You need your blood magic to reach lv 20. In which case, you need to have at least 111 Strength. Check your gear, add it somewhere and you should be good.
