You can scum 100ex a week you can't farm 100ex a week, the vast sums of currency accrued by the few just represents how much currency is left on the table by a majority of transactions that the regular players make.

even now a starforge is 8ex, dying sun is 3ex, at the start of a league a catalysit is 1 or 2 exalts, acuity are 40ex, disfavour is 10ex, xophs blood are 19ex... you realise people are rushing this content as fast as possible and then farming it 14+ hours per day on very fast clearing builds? Whats scumbag about rushing through the game faster than anyone else and farming high ticket content every waking hour? thats just farming + being good at it.

Personally I doubt people buying exalts for 34 chaos worth of currency then selling them for 37 chaos worth of currency are some sort of millionaire scumlords rolling in cash that no one farming could hope to achieve. I think dropping 60ex worth of items in a day from farming bigboy content and buying a mirror for that 60ex that will be worth 100ex next week is probably going to be the path to far bigger riches than sitting on xyz all day trying to buy chisels for fusing that you sell into chaos and then into exalts, that sounds like pleb work.
