Harbinger league is just plain bad and boring.

I think its quite safe to assume Harbingers are going to be permanent at this point.

Real question is:
How hard is their spawn~ and droprate going to be nerfed when the league is over?
Are they useful for farming Orbs or are they so rare that you cant get Orbs without trading?

hands down one of the worst leagues in poe history tbh. mobs that drop currency shards - one might think after all these years they´d come up with great ideas outside of breach and legacy this is quite the laughingstock.
It's not bad, we're just used to something more rewarding. We just came off of Legacy which was after Breach, so we had two amazing leagues back to back. People were just expecting to much after those two.
Harbinger has become my favorite league, not because of the league mechanic itself but the healthy economy not seen since...ever?

The league inst the best sure, but its not that bad either. I mean hell we have all the 3.0 changes to figure out and try also. I'm still enjoying the game.
We had probaly 2 of the best leagues before this, Breach and Legacy. I don't think harbinger is boring though. It is a nice league, but with 3.0 and all the new stuff we can't expect GGG to push out 10/10 stuff all the time.
Hey the XP map from the league is not even half bad, gives me 11% xp at level 92, so this is the league to push levels for lazy people.

My bet, nerfed harder than we like but get used to it, drops buffed enough to give like 1/3-1/2 of the lower orbs like horizon and binding, 1/3-1/4 of the higher stuff and then the same drop rates for exalted and mirror per kill.

I never really liked breach and legacy. For breaches you needed to make some insane clear AoE build like blade vortex or you'll lag behind like an idiot. Legacy was just a clusterfuck of OP items trivializing the already easy enough content(bosses who die in less than a seconds, what a joke). Long story short - I sat it out, never bothered to go beyond level 70.

This league though hits it all in the right places. Harbingers are just dangerous enough for a melee build to keep the tension going, the new map is insane for grinding exp and I am getting it like 50% of the time when I harbinger a tier 13 map anyway. Its also the first league where I ever bother to go beyond level 95.

They even fixed the lag somehow.

Overall, thumbs up.
I still hope "harbinger" refers to something coming next... that this will lead somewhere. Otherwise, yep... it's pretty bland.
