Abnormal disconnect: An unexpected disconnection occurred.

I started the league just fine, only had one crash despite playing several hours every day.

Since the last patch I can't go an hour without getting a disconnect, and for the last few days I can't even finish a single delve without getting DC'd.

Ran WinMTR, no packet loss. I can play Warframe for several hours straight with no issues. Something is screwing up on GGG's end.

so if you can drive to your grandma to the end of town just fine but you can't go to the supermarket over the river cause the bridge just collapsed, it's definitely the supermarket that is at fault?

on a more serious note: indeed, getting alot of disconnections is a sign of server instances just crashing.

if you wanna definite proof just run the mtr against the ip address you're playing on by getting the address from the game's logfile and log while you're playing.


do you have the option to switch to a different server to try if that helps?

No, I'm saying the problem isn't on my end, not having internet troubles anywhere else or random disconnects on other games. It's isolated to PoE, which combined with my WinMTR having no issues means the issue is likely in GGGs end.

Tried different servers, same issue. Out of town for holidays, so I can't try running the mtr while playing for a few days.

im just freezing since 2 days screen freezes and it shuts down 1 min after and im not lagging in any other games cant go pass 10 min of gameplay atm

It seems that this problem is getting worse and worse.
In this actual league, Betrayal, im having the worst experience with these disconnects.

I'm being dc almost every time i change to any instance, it's impossible to play, 2 hours trying to play, for my char go from lvl 63 to 66.

Same issues here. Freezes, disconnections again and again. Changing server changes nothing. Poe is the only game I currently play with such issues and that's unplayable. Got quite hyped for that league, even buying a pack but that's the worst season I've done so far with so many bugs. Just an example : the first katarina boss on syndicate : 4 disconnections in the fight, then the boss bugged : wow !

Adding content to the game is fine but what the point if the game is not stable ?

Same thing here. Normally the DC ocurres when loading into a new instance. Makes things like running lab incredibly frustrating.

Same problem here.

Any new area I want to join have to try 3 or 4 times to enter. This error is from the last 2 expansions, but now occur I dont know, maybe 2 time per minute.

I tried other GPU, other memory, new HD partition, reinstall the game, clear memory and cache, other internet conections, turnoff wifi and use only cable, close anything like browser to play, other servers. Failed every attempt.

Cant play anymore.

I had this issue for the last year until today.
I did the following:

1. Used DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) in safe mode to remove all drivers
1.1 Reinstall all updated drivers
2. Reinstalled/repaired all DX9/11/12

Hope this helped, as I know their "check WinMTR because you are probably having 'Packet loss' along the hops" reasoning was completely irrational in my situation.

Sidenote: If it's similar to my problem it should spike in GPU utilization and then exponentially allocate your memory proceeding that spike.
