Endgame build diversity has never felt so shit.
I am the kind of player that spend 75% of my time in Path of Building, making my own builds from scratch. I love the idea of very hard content, but I dislike that only very few builds can do it.

This is a quick listing of things I think Should happen/change.
- Rework/Balance Ascendancy Classes - New skills: E.G. (UNARMED!, Channeled Cold Skill, Channeled Bow Skill, Mine/Traps.) - Rework existing skills that feels bad: Elemental hit, Wild Strike, Ice Crash, Animate Guardian, Cold Snap, Dominating Blow, Sweep, Cleave. (I could go on) - Rework Vaal Skills/Add Some: E.G. (Remove charges & add cooldown timer. Vaal Jewel = Cooldown Reduction.) - New skill jewels: E.G. (Discharge, Mine/traps, Frost Bomb, Shockwave Totem, Animate Guardian, Blast Rain/Rain of Arrows.) - Balance/Rework existing support gems: E.G. (bloodlust, Cast on ____, Chain/Fork, reduced mana.) - Rework/Buff Uniques: Weapons: (Uul-Netol's Embrace+Bone Nova, Trypanon, Darkscorn, Cameria's Maul, Rebuke of the Vaal, Prismatic Eclipse, The Dancing Dervish, Jack - the Axe, The Harvest, Doomsower.) Armour: (Infernal Mantle, Kingsguard, Lightbane Raiment, Atziri's Splendour, Surgebinders, Obscurantis, Crown of Eyes, Ylfeban's Trickery, Black Sun Crest.) Accessories: (Rigwald's Curse, Blood of Corruption, Soulthirst, Umbilicus Immortalis, The Pariah, Malachai's Artifice, Saemus' Gift.) - New Uniques: 1H Axe, 1H Mace, 2H Mace, 1H Thrusting Sword, Wand (for attack), Staff (for attack), AR/Eva Boots, AR/Ener Boots, Ener/Eva Boots, Eva Gloves, AR Helm, AR/Eva Shield, Ener/Eva Shield, Quiver. " /slowclap. that being said, GGG doesn't seem interested in touching old content; they'd rather try and Dazzle with the new and hope it brings in people with novelty than touch core issues or old skills. I mean, how long have people been asking for Heavy strike/sweep/cleave buffs? Instead of fixing them by simply fiddling with numbers they insisted on fixing them with something NEW instead and brought us Threshold gems. Which are a good idea but instead of altering things laterally (Make a skill work in a different way so its not stronger but DIFFERENT) they're outright "Must have" buff gems. |

I personally don't like old content I want fresh new stuff that's what I enjoy I really really do not like or care for old content as a prior.

More PBAoEs similar to RF but for different damage types and different type of functions. Have them generate more armor or evasion as larger mobs enter into the skill's range. A vampiric themed one using Chaos damage with regen/leech.

Changes To existing skills I'd suggest:
Heavy strike should grant fortify on hit baseline, and its damage should be increased 10-15% in addition to this. Sweep Should have a similiar ability to hedgemony's era: Whenever you knock an enemy back with it you should generate an endurance charge. Additionally, its Speed penalty should be removed. Cyclone should be changed to be a channeled ability instead of a cast to move ability; you should continue spinning so long as you hold down the button, with MP drained per second and a reduced movement speed while its active. This would make it feel less clunky and would open up more skill gem opportunities to use with it. |

Look at it this way, rework of old contant is practically brand new content.
Balancing old content may sound boring, but in the grand scheme of things, it could change everything for the better. |

" Strongly agree. Too much content in PoE is just trash we skip/avoid - items, item mods, skills, etc. This has no purpose and is a drag on the game. Give us options! That’s one of the main things that attracted me to the game in the first place and keeps me interested in building new characters. But no, we now have abyssal jewels and belts which replace all other possibilities. Vend the rest. Yay. We're all in this leaky boat together, people.

Balance? In POE? They have just added 100%more elemental damage offhands thus removing non-fake-dualwield skills drom the game..
And you ask for balance. Fake dw was already a problem. These new stat.sticks multiplied the issue ten fold Build diversity stems from CHOICES. What choice players have when some options are 10 times better? Fake dual wield (with cheap alteration crafted offhand) crit reave vs classic dual wield non crit cleave There is no hope at this point |
