Until recently, I used an AMD HD6970 (circa 2012) and SGs would lag me more than FEs. For some reason the old incinerate spell effect, which FEs use, was less taxing than the SGs fireballs. This is one reason the build focuses on FEs.

I'll have to put this info into the guide for console players.

Now that I have my trigger wand, should I use "summon skeleton" with "flesh offering" and "desecrate"? or "cold snap"? . I noticed that TUSK uses "cold "snap" instead of "summon skeleton" Just wondering if there's an advantage of using one compared to the other?

first of all thanks for the great guide and detailed levelling guide

I started this on HC with 2 goals in mind: reach lvl 90 and do uber lab.

I have a question about levelling - I got a tabula - would it be ok to have spectre and zombies + minion damage + summon phantasm + elemental focus for a while? kinda want more between me and the monsters.

also while mapping, would zombies be viable to have around? again, not looking for speed, but to be safer.

BTW is there any reason why noone uses Headhunter here?

No double beyond this league, most headhunter bonus dont work for minions, it makes the game bland and all builds the same

That will work. Tabula is fine for everything really; the main issues is its lack of defences. You might want to consider a rare 5L chest with good resists/life.

If you want to keep zombies, consider putting them in a +socket helmet with Stone Golem/AG. A +2 helmet is fairly easy to get.



The links would be Stone Golem + Zombies + Minion Life + Minion Resist. You could even swap minion resist with Animate Guardian (and equip the AG with Kingmaker for fortify).

Overall this will give you 24 minions: 3 spectres (with tabula) + 10 phantasms + 1 stone golem + 9 zombies (I think it's 9) + 1 AG with party fortify buff. Don't forget the Vaal Skelies for 32-skeleton meatshield for 'oh shit' moments (Syndicate intervention, for example).

I used one in Incursion league for a few weeks (before corruption chamber -> poof). It gives limited benefit because minion kills give the buff to your summoner and not to themselves.

Now I know why people are running "Cold Snap" instead of "Summon Skeleton" It's definitely superior. Thanks Tusk!!
