" Oh sorry Kay, I actually do not use Knights, I do use sentries, my bad, mixed up the letters there. I have actually not tried the knights, but now that you showed me how to make a spectre bank I might give them a go since they are almost the same gems, I will need to level a multistrike for it first. One other thing I swapped gems a little, so using meatshield + feeding frenzy for my animated guardian, that means it is defensive,and fortify is close to me + the blind aura. I just recently changed to use animated guardian. Then I changed my deathmark to elemental army on my spectres, it is not much less dmg, and makes them almost un-killable. I just checked PoB, when I swap in Ele Focus, they have roughly 2M dps each, that is still insane. But in regards to the shield debate, I am considering to have the Vicarius one in my offhand, for big bosses. There is still more crafting to do, and for the first time it is actually managable for "normal players" to make something worthwhile. Btw, trancenergy11, that is a crazy nice slam ;) I would take double curse over more offering, but it is a prefix. Also I am doing armor not ES, since I am using the Devouring diadem, so not an option right now. Might consider changing that later, if it get a sick helm. | |

" Tnx, got pretty lucky. You can have both curse mod + offering mod on it (like mine). And its actually not super hard to roll. Curse has about 25% chance of rolling if u got the ilvl83 and block prefs correctly. And offering about 33% chance. I'm using diadem as well. Enabling my energy shield with MOM. Unfortunately i had to give up life on it for the 10% life as es mod but i think its worth for roughtly 1k es it gives than the 200-300 life id get from t2 life. I feel like energy shield is way better than armour. |

" Hmm only way that would work alongside the diadem would be if you used MoM, well are you? Also, energyshield is basically just another sort of lifepool in normal circumstances, and if you got low dmg reduction you will still be hit harder. I am up to 7650 hp now, and still got a couple of items i can make better, so probably end up having 8K hp, that is really nice I think. I just feel that alongside glancing blows, phys reduction is just very nice, makes my health not dip at all. I just got awakened EDWA, and also noticed that my spectres freeze bosses a lot without ele focus. I really like that, so just testing to not use Ele focus and just swap in deathmark instead on big bosses (like conquerors), since that is effectively more damage than ele focus. | |

Thank you for the build. I have one question : i want to use frostbomb with my wand and put elemental weakness on the gloves. But in path of building it decrease the damage of my RS and i don't know why. Do you have any idea why it doesn't work ? Thanks | |

" I can't see your profile since it's private, but if you're going for crit redemption sentries, blocking fire res will guarantee that you hit Raze and Pillage as a notable since it's the only other mod tagged as fire. If the cluster jewel is Renewal, Vicious Bite, Raze and Pillage. Then Raze and Pillage will be the furthest notable on the wheel. So then you only need to spend 5 points on the large cluster jewel. So if you have two suffixes, you won't be able to augment fire res. edit: Didn't see the change for cluster jewels on the front page, but if you're going two large clusters, it'd be better to have to only spend 5 points on each wheel since you'll be struggling to have enough passive points. If you're only going 1 large cluster or have enough points, then I suppose going for renewal, vicious bite, feasting fiends wouldn't be that bad. " Well from what i've read in the wiki - armor has extremely diminishing returns in the game and is only effective against multiple small hits while doing basically nothing against big hits. ~TLDR it doesn't matter if you get hit by 1000 or 5000 damage armor will reduce a roughly equal flat amount like say 300 and the reduction only scales with extreme amounts of armor. And to me playing with energy shield and diadem just feels great. Energy shield also gets recovered from Feast of Flesh basically doubling your Diadem heals. My health is pretty low unfortunately after the double clusters and losing my armor health. I'm down to 5.4k health and 1.4k es. I am up to 40mil non-boss dps however.
