I can try to make it... I used Soulwrest build a long time ago.

The main problem is you lose trigger + offering from wand and also defense/recovery from shield. Usually everyone just use Necro Aegis + frenzy/power charge shield if they want big dps.

Why the changes from your 3.12 guide? specifically skeles and carnage chieftains?

If I don't wan't to micro manage Pradtor/Prey, what would the next best support gem be, for physical/cold like Crabbie? Hypothermia?

Melee Splash would work ofc, but what is the best single-target dps after Pradator?

I would still highly recommend sticking with Predator... The ability to have pets focus on a target is extremely good. I bind this to my middle mouse button and rarely click it mapping but always on boss and metamorph.

i'd say dont mess with attunements until you can afford, but if you really want you can do ravenous horde which is pretty cheap.

I know some people like to get Ravenous Horde, but I think just save oil until DA.

Ruthless. It also give extra stun.

But Predator is really important for minions! Don't think about it like micro manage. It's more like focus spectres while you run away :)

For example, if you attack boss and then move away (like dodge aoe) then spectres will follow you. The boss will keep attacking you, etc. But if you use Predator they will keep attacking and you can move really far actually. Totally offscreen and even around the corner/through a door!

And I think Predator will be very important for new endgame! Focus kill bosses one by one is better than minions following you because you are dodging attacks or running around like crazy trying not to die :P

I use the 3.12 levelling guide for ziz gauntlet. All the minions died easily because early bosses do aoe damage and early minions are low HP. I tried a few different things too. plain skele, skele + MI, SRS.

SRS + MI was the strongest option. I was able to get pretty far even though I'm not HC player.

I also retested carnage chieftains spectres in normal league and actually they all died in Dominus fight. So I decided to just use SRS + zombie for Act 1 - 4 because if they die. it doesn't matter.

I also tested tanky spectres like Gorgol Alpha but they are kinda bad and still died.

So just wait until Act 5 to get SD.
