I'm looking for new spectres, specifically Scinteel Synthete

Hey Kay! I've played with SD in the past and want to try some of the new spectres out. However I want to try some phys spectres either with impale or some poison shenanigans. Any recommendations? Sorry if you have already answered something similar before. I got lost with all the spectre abbreviations in the last 10 pages or so. :D

Do you have a source of fire that regularly ignites monsters perhaps? What spectres are you using?

Also, I see you have flame totem in your gear. Are you using it for clearing, or bosses only? If for clear, then it might be igniting mobs.

You could try ball lightning for frenzy proc and curse application.


Edit: I tried to replicate your problem, and i THINK i know what the problem might be.

I made sure to shoot at the first pack of mobs to trigger spiders, and then tried not to cast anything else, going from pack to pack.
After a while, the spiders did all de-spawn.

I re-started with a new pack of mobs, and this time, when spiders started de-spawning, 2 new ones spawned, and re-filled the whole pack back up to 20 spiders on their own. I am not sure if the spiders did it on their own, or if the CWDT+Desecrate damaged some mob and it re-spawned that way.

So the problem (or two) that might be happening:

One, is that all the spiders spawn within a couple of seconds, so they all de-spawn within those two seconds, breaking the cycle.

But another one might be, and this might be the real problem at this time, is that in Act9-10, it seems like the spiders are one-shotting most trash mobs, possibly even magic/rare mobs.

So almost none of the mobs actually get the chance to die from the spiders' poison, but just get one-shot by their physical damage.

Granted, this is all just theorycrafting, but my guess is that once you go into maps, it should all even out once mobs take more than a single hit to die.

Is awakened Spell Echo worth it?

What spectre is best when using PoH?
i feel that redemtion sentry are anoying ass the get lockedown having to cast every spell 4 times, is the a longrange spammy spectre? i like the aggro range of redemtion sentrys but feel they are a bad match with PoH

Hi Guys, im out of option, really want to try Templar War Maiden, used already 20 Scarabs and spammed chat. If anyone would provide them to me, i would tip :).

The easiest way to get them is from the domain, but emblem costs 85c.

Do you want to try them in standard before you do that? I have them banked.

I think they're not good. The true DPS feels lower than poedb numbers.

My favourite PoH spectre is Goatman Fire-Raiser with GMP + Faster Proj. You get 20 mag orbs per spectre shooting out and PoH smooths out the 3s cooldown. They use full damage mag orbs whereas War Maidens have a reduced damage version.

For base build and EB & MoM, the A-SE activates every second cast (final repeat).

For PoH it activates on the 4th cast (final repeat of Greater Spell Echo + A-SE) and the 4th cast has the GSE buff of 105% damage.


Also all DD stacks.

So you could run 3x Renewal (30%)
Awakened SE (19%)
Avian Aspect (10%)
Passive (5%)
Temple Wand (5%)
