Why did you do it?
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

The recent events make me believe that POE is coming to the end. There is many thing i notice that prove my words and i am start to believe that the next leage and following events will be less people to play. I dont think that to sell POE to Tencent was a good idea for the comunity. may be is good for Cris but this will be dawn fall. I am not saying to enable all third party programs and become chaos but the current situation make me believe that many users will decide to find "entertament" else were. Balance have to be found by both sides. Current league is near dead right now and the game will be ..... dont know.

" dont worry, that guy registered 4 months ago and has 1 lvl82 character, i would take any statement from such person with some scepticism and question validity of such an opinion especially with total of 1 posts on this forum. opinion of his would probably have a different weight if he was at least 5 years playing poe, but this way he seems like a game jumper that just want casual games, especially with hint on azeroth part. Also, OP thing was probably done as response to whining on reddit how bots are good traders and that we either need auction or allow bots to trade better. This game is ridiculous in terms of QoL and usability.
There are things like chaos recipe, easiest way to do it was putting items by type in a separate stashes and then pick them up by one with an app to sell a set, I can't imagine clicking million times to do it manually. And generally, the devs are proud of an idea to make flasks an items not consumables like they were in D2, but instead created a whole mess with bunch of currencies and items you would spend ridiculous time to sort out manually. 99.99% of all the identified drops even with strict loot filter are complete trash, the HUD was highlighting t1-t2 mods on items tooltip allowing to find good gear without straining eyes looking at the bunch of affixes. I sometimes had to generate around hundred of instances to spawn needed vaal side areas for these silly challenges, it would be a joke to run all these locations not knowing if there is side area in a location or not. Especially if the client gets this information from server the moment you enter the area. There were silly things like doing a full clear where there are mobs that spawn only when you step onto them; not seeing the mobs on a minimap is like playing blind. Same goes for some bosses or exiles that can shoot or cast at you out of screen and you don't even see where they are. I could use an image from poelab.com to see the Lab layout as an overlay, instead of looking at the second monitor. And what if would have only one? Alt-tab all the time? I agree that knowing map layout or having auto-flasks and auto-logout indeed affects gameplay, though majority of HC leagues players will be using these anyway, just swith ones that will take a data from screen pixels not memory and devs won't do anything with it. But banning for plugins that make the game less clunky or finally allow you to see your character's actual DPS and amount of HP bosses have (again, game UI doesn't allow to toggle these numbers for whatever reason and skill "dps" tooltips have nothing to do with reality) is an absolute idiocy. I guess this will be mine last league, once I get my 40/40. |
