Doubt it, you lose a ton of damage on both soulrend and bane if you remove withering presence. The extra curse is unnecessary (and can be acquired from items if you really want it) and the hexproof cursing is a QoL for maps which is also no big deal. (The exta non-chaos as extra chaos obviously does nothing for this build)

Does bane count as one of your curses? So if i want despair and temp chains to proc of Bane i would need access to 3 curses?

Bane does not count as a curse itself, so with no increased curse limit you can use Bane + a curse.

I run Bane with Despair, Enfeeble and Temp Chains with +1 curse on the tree and Vixen's Entrapment gloves.

OK updated POBS. Trees are back. DPS got higher. Added Vaal Blight.
Added third POB for maximum damage lvl98

I noticed in the latest PoB there's no mention of Bane, I've been playing with it and seems to do well. Have you tried it?

For Soul Rend, how are you liking it? I've seen Tarke's trickster with it and I'm jealous of that cast speed.

I'm not sure, all I know is that I could run Bane + Despair with zero additional curse from anywhere.

I think that Bane is a "Curse skill" while the curses are just "Curse" may be the key.
