" No need for excuses, i am here to help! We've all been there, asking million of questions. As for Bane and Soulrend. Bane is just a curse. The more other curses you attach to it, the more effective it becomes on it's own. I think it will be extremely useful on it's own. Soulrend if literally a "fast", piercing version of ED, that does not require a Contagion to clear. Do you have a tree for what nodes to take before you get Shavonne's Wrappings? Or at least what nodes you can get rid of in favor of getting down to the scion life wheel?

I have not touched any of the chaos skills since 3.0, so really looking forward to diving into this league. Been watching your builds every league, but never had the big itch to selfcast again before now.
If you dont mind, I have a couple of questions that I have found conflicting answers for. Bane has the curse tag, but does it count towards the curse limit on an enemy target? Will it also be viablo to not use blasphemy anymore, and cast the curses through bane? Looking forward to seeing how your build progresses, as I dont have a lot of time to play at the start anyway! :D |

Just wondering, if I take CI, is there any reason to not take the Ghost Reaver node? Will Soulrend or Bane just not interact with it or is the build already overkill for leeching?

I'm kinda stuck deciding if I want to go occultist soulrend, lightning trap saboteur, or eleBuzzsaw Raider I believe as a starter.
However what do you think of the change to arcane will with its buff of 5% more max mana then before and the new 4% max mana added as ES? And would that be something to drop 2 points to get instead of something else on the tree? |
