[3.13] ESSENCE DRAIN / BANE / SOULREND Occultist / Trickster Build. STARTER & UBER Elder Carry!

The build is Okay, not as fast as other builds I used to play, however tankiness is what covers it.
I do have one problem tho: I'm playing T13-T14 maps and it takes forever to kill boss. Any recommendation for single target damage? ED/Bane/Despair simply doesn't cover it. At this rate, Im gonna have hard time killing even elder slayers, yet alone Sirus. | |

Vaal blight helps and channeling blight while your active curses are up help imo.

" It's damage over time. Its always slow, so you need to ramp up the damage as high as possible for end-game. Recent patches also greatly buffed all bosses https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer

" I'm doing the following atm, 240k DoT (IN-GAME TOOLTIP; I am not Low Life yet but I do have 21+2/20 ED): > Contagion for Arcane Surge buff > Use Despair potion if needed > Vaal Blight so boss takes more chaos damage > Hit with Shield Charge for Fortify if needed > Damage potion! (Sulphur) and defensive potions so that you can tank the boss for a bit > Hit with ED > Blight (with Spreading Rot to stack Wither so boss takes more damage) for as long as you can depending on boss damage. I'm using that rotation right now and it works for me, I have no space for Wither totems but if you do then you might want to consider that instead of using blight yourself. Hey, I've followed your build, almost exactly the same (Apart from 2 extra nodes I took on tree since I saw them more fitting for my playstyle), and all I gotta say is, its quite amazing. My gems are not maxed yet, my rares are far, FAR from min/maxed, and I can do content quite fine. Boss dps feels abit slow, but then again, its a dot build so it has to ramp up. But the best thing I like about this, is survivability. I RARELY die, the only thing to really kill me are 100% one shots. I can freely walk into large group of mobs and feel safe due to curses.
So anyways, thanks for the guide, keep it up. PS. I've found you via your youtube channel, and I've been enjoying your videos since. | |
