Yeah Energy Leech is the new ES "Damage on Full Life". Pretty insane multiplier assuming how easy it is to stay on full ES

The guide will air tomorrow. Levelling tree would be there for ES only though, as you will still have to level as hybrid/life.

Thoughts on Blight CWC Soulrend?

So after reading gems details, and watching your video, I'm starting to form my opinion on Soulrend:
* It's way faster and deals more dps to cast while channeling on Blight. As you bring cast speed from 0.80 to 0.35, and also you have to keep casting for it to keep doing more damage = same playstyle as channeling.

* With new Spreading Rot + "Withering presence" from Occultist, we will inflict 12 stacks of "Wither" within 2 seconds of channeling Blight. Very powerful for both: clearing and bossing.

* We can use Vaal Righteous Fire instead of Vaal Blight?

* With Energy leech support, soulrend leech, and "Wicked Ward", we will be at 100% ES most of the time. I'd dare to say we can drop discipline as long as we stay CI. Going down from 12.5k ES to 11k isn't really super bad. We don't need watcher's Eye faster start of recharge with that much leech anyway.

* If we drop "discipline" we get "Malevolence" for great dps. It's almost as good as "Pain atonement" , but we keep our pure ES CI version for better effective life.

* If we don't drop "discipline" , but use crafted staff or simple unique as Cane of Unravelling would boost our dps greatly. We can also crafted ((73-80)% Chaos damage/Chaos spell have (21-23%) increased skill effect duration) on staff. And/Or +3 socketed gems. More dps options in general.

* Both new "Shield" and "Staff" nodes on the tree doesn't seem very interesting tbh.
--- Staff have Crit/Area of effect/Block/Unholy Might/spell damage.
--- Shield have block/cast speed/Avoid Ailments/spell damage (smaller)/block recovery/increased es from equipped shield
--- We could get better damage nodes somewhere else (Spirtual Aid still better), also the new "Lethal Assault" near shadow gives us damage/AOE/projectile speed at same time, and new "Arcane expanse" also have better bonuses.

* Dual wield on other hand gives Frenzy and power charges/move speed/reduce cooldown on movement skills/mana regeneration/casting speed. If I understand right, Frenzy charges would be nice bonus to have, plus all cast speed from dual wield itself, and the dps from two weapons .. It might be worth sacrificing es from shield..

Yep thats what i mean , for us the newbies , what would look like the leveling tree with the hybrid / life notes

Sorry I have not played PoE much, but how does this build compare to this build?
