Anyway in general a good AS roll gives more or less the same damage as that Chaos DoT multi roll. So you're essentially paying 12ex for something that you can craft yourself with 100c.

Nope it's trash.

Never craft aspect of the spider on a bow.

It makes the mana reserve go from 25% to ~40% due to support gems in bow interacting with aspect, so it's a really bad idea.

If someone wants to use aspect, put it on a quiver, belt or ring so it doesn't have any sockets to mess with mana reserve. You can just buy the beast and craft it.

Also seriously, 12ex for this shit? What a scam. Imperial base = dude didn't even pay for 6link just got div card base. This costs like 6ex + 500alts + 4c to craft if I remember correctly. 500 alts does not justify another 6ex in price, basically a double...

If you wanna overpay for stuff at least find someone who has thicket bow base (or any other 1.5 base).

Anyway if it doesn't have attack speed or extra arrow it shouldn't cost more than 8-10ex (I just checked, 500 alts is just under 2ex and you can be lucky and hit it earlier). And tbh anything is better than aspect, it's a dead mod there. Even +10 dexterity.

But I have a couple of questions on how to really upgrade my gear from here, especially at having higher survivability; I'm not too sure if there is some obvious upgrades I should be doing to better myself. I am definitely not an expert, so take with a grain of salt/I'm almost certainly missing some stuff, but:

The obvious thing that jumps out at me is simply your abyss jewel in your belt. Should be easy enough to get one with life as well as onslaught, and if you feel like spending more you can go for corrupting blood immunity if you don't have it on another jewel on your tree.

When you're looking to make upgrades, one of the easier ones is just to be sure that every (non-cluster) jewel you use has life or ES on it.

Could try to upgrade your Topaz ring to one with more life and similar resists.

Could go for Vaal Discipline instead of normal Discipline.

You don't want conc effect on Toxic Rain. You really, really don't want less AoE, because it means pods won't overlap as much/at all. PoB isn't really set up to take into account exactly how TR works, so it suggests conc effect (and, like, Decay) highly when it actually doesn't work well. Easiest replacement is Efficacy, if you don't want to recolor the sockets; actually I think that's the optimal replacement, assuming you're avoiding mirage archer because of Asenath's.

I'm not sure that faster attacks is doing anything in your boots? Despair and Dash aren't attacks... that's where I have Withering Step, instead. If you're intentionally not using withering step, then you'd want to put something else useful there (vaal grace if you don't use vaal discipline, maybe).

Would the build benefit from synthesized gloves with the increased damage over time implicit? I’ve noticed all of the dot multipliers that the build uses but none without the multiplier.

If it's just "increased damage over time," that isn't all that significant; that gets added with all the other increases. If it's increased dot multiplier that's more relevant, but it's still probably not as good as Despair on-hit as a vaal implicit (which is also much easier to get than a specific synthesis implicit).

Looking for some feedback as I continue to develop this character (currently level 96.5) in SSF this league.

I have a +3, AS, open prefix/suffix short bow but still can't 6L after 1-1.5k fuses (only 24% quality). So just waiting. I've done 19 fossil craft attempts, 17 essence crafts and countless alt regal exalt spams on the 6L imperial with no luck yet. I got the level 4 empower first try, and have three other level 3 empowers if I wanted to go for another for the weapon swap CA. 0/17 on corrupting a Toxic Rain.

Survivability is surprisingly high even with bad rings, amulet, and gloves (and also I think a %HP/ES pure evasion chest would be better than Queen). Survive all heists and most t16 mods no problem but my damage leaves a lot to be desired especially on like conquerors etc. Over time I can tweak and optimize for mana but it doesn't make or break bosses for me yet.

I am missing Vertex since I don't have the gear for Uber Atziri yet.

Really like the build so far, but even after an hour i rly cant figure out why im doing 4 times less damage than the uploaders current build.

Except for the helmet its basically the same.I can take off the helmet and 3 other pieces of his gear and he still has more dmg.Maybe its just pob but i rly dont know wat to do then
