My current gear:
I have about 5ex to spend. What shuold i focus on now? I'd like more damage. Will +2 gems amulet be a good purchase? Also when should I change my tree for cluster jewels setup? I'm currently using " Entry Setup (NO CLUSTER JEWELS)" option from the guide. Thanks! | |

The build is very enjoyable even when you have pretty mediocre gear. I have been using the porcupine +2 + crafted attack speed bow for a very long period of time and it was enough to run the most of the game content like a hot knife through butter.
At some point i even felt immortal because i can stand in tons of mobs and don't get hit by attack or spell. Dodge is fun so I decided not to drop the Acrobatics Keystone for the Thread of Hope and focus on the defensive part of character because the offensive part isn't an issue :) Thanks to the creator and other ppl in the thread who helped me with some questions. " The easiest boost of damage for you is to get the lvl 21 Toxic Rain gem. Every +1 level of your Toxic Rain adds the substantial amount of damage. The +1 Dex gems amulet is not very hard to obtain. +1 Dex +1 Chaos ones are way more expensive. I crafted the one myself. Harvest is op + I got lucky. If we talk about the clusters i think You should change the tree to cluster jewel setup once you have enough passives to allocate everything for 1 cluster setup (or 2) and have the clusters ofc. Picked up my thread of hope earlier, middle tier tree looking solid now. Its just 2 large clusters, 1 small, 1 thread of hope, but gives me elemental aiment immunity without needing it on gear, lets me fit in all auras with lv3 enlighten, strong dps and tankiness etc.

"Get +1 dex amulet, either buy or alt spam ilvl 82+ hunter amulet. Be sure it has 2 free suffix 1 prefix when rare. You can have 2 prefix empty if you want -mana on it or life. Harvest remove, annul, etc. until you have free slots. You need 3 augment chaos. If you hit chaos res you will need all 3. If you don't, you will only use 2 for chaos multi and +1 chaos. That's it. There are only 3 chaos mods so as long as you have slots and ilvl / influence is correct you will always hit it. Neck should look like: Prefix: +1 dex +1 chaos (life or -mana craft) Suffix: chaos multi chaos resist (optional) random* * - if you can remove this with harvest, you can and craft something here and try to augment life for good prefix, but that's more advanced and you can get shit rolls on life, I swear half the harvest I was getting +15 life rolls on everything and going fml | |

Given that we use Empower in the TR setup, wouldn't +1 str gems be equally effective as +1 dex gems? It doesn't really change anything, but gives a little more flexibility in alt spamming or trying to buy a base. Am I missing something?

"Yes, the amulet mod says "+1 to Level of all Strength Skill Gems", empower is not a SKILL gem, it's a support gem. Compare that to faceted fossil bow craft, where the delve suffix says "+1 to Level of Socketed Strength Gems" which works on both skills / supports. | |
