What are your thoughts on using storm brand in a Malachai's Artifice to apply EE instead of triggering from weapon?

I don't usually respond on my forum threads anymore (due to time limitations) BUUUUUT:

I think you lose to much stats/res/ES by using malachai's artifice I would much rather self-cast the EE trigger till you can get the trigger craft.

planning to play ssf this league. how rare is the trigger socketed spell craft? is that viable to plan to find for my ssf character? any reliable ways to farm it?

Its this Build good for Starter in 3.9 ?

How is this build at leveling pain in the ass? and when do you swith to vortex ?
I just want a relax build and easy build and budget friendly, also that one is easy to level up, and how do you sustain mana and stuff?

Very smooth leveling. Start with OOS/Storm brand and maybe a trap or mine. Once you get Vortex slot it right away and use it with OOS/Storm brand plus one casting spell (Wave of conviction, a trap/mine, I might try arc with the changes). You will run into a pack, drop OOS/brand and vortex simultaneously, (most things die at this point) then cast a spell and reapply vortex when it's off cooldown.

I found leveling with cold snap a bit less reliable before it's 4-linked and pretty mana hungry. But overall mana shouldn't be an issue since there are so many easy mana nodes to grab if you need.

What are the main differences between the Occultist and Trickster version? Never played vortex or even an ES-build

Is there any point to the curse nodes if you dont have solstice vigil? Because the only curse used is temp chains with vigil unless I am missing something?

The curse nodes have been removed for that purpose :)

If you don't get it during the first round of bosses it's a pain. You can buy unveiled items but it's expensive - non SSF obviously. To be honest I hate the RNG in terms of what unveil bosses you get first.
