You should not use Empower lvl4 as there are better (and way cheaper) support gems, so go with Minion damage mod.

You should not use Empower lvl4 as there are better (and way cheaper) support gems, so go with Minion damage mod.

For example? From my PoB I can see that with a 6l 2h Fortify Staff only Ruthless provides slighly more dmg than lvl 4 Empower with +2 to supports. At the same time Empower boosts SRS life from 15kish to 25kish and accuracy as well.

I tried many different setups, doing all sort of dps and clear speed checks, including T16 Guardians.

Im runnning slightly different gear and tree, using Kaoms Heart and Devouring Diadem. With the new tree I have around 8k EHP and 220k DPS per skull.

I tried minion instability, I tried Phantasms and so on.

Regarding 6L Staff setup so far "the golden standard" for me is:

With Fortify staff vs boss:
SRS + Minion Damage + MPD + Elemental dmg with attacks + Unleash + lvl 4 Empower (if +2 to lvl of supports is present on staff) or Ruthless (if not)

Without Fortify staff vs boss:
Same as above but with Fortify as 6link.

For map clear I just throw Melee Splash as last link.

So Im curious if someone manage to get better results with different 6l.

For example I was hyped about the Summon Phantasms idea but all in all it turned out to be much worse than clean SRS setup in both clear speed and boss killing.
