You can just look at me tree, I have not removed any damage node I would otherwise have taken. Grave Intentions is incredibly weak. Using the passives on +10 str nodes would be more damage. And Enduring Bond is more than questionable too, it has 3 very weak small nodes leading to an ok'ish notable.

Grave Intentions weak - what are you talking about? Unholy Might does not register in PoB and it gives 30% of phys as chaos. This is straight 18.7%+ More damage in my build. You can test it by adding an "Added Fire" gem to your links and working it out to 30% gained.

So yes you are giving up ~20% damage for life.

Also one thing I forgot in my calcs is that you lose the Avian 100% buff. Instead of a 19% More dmg buff 50% of the time it is a 9.5% More buff. So even that out to another 4.75% dmg loss "at all times".

Yea, if you assume 100% uptime. In reality it is less than 20% of the time that any given minion has it. Never mind all of them, which would be close to 0.1% of the time. I did the calculations many pages ago, like around page 60 or 70. It is close to useless while mapping and 100% useless for bosses.

It is 25% chance for 4 seconds on kill. Lets just do this for the Zombies and ignore that 40% of the builds DPS comes from the Skelletons. Including Skellies would make the math even more damning for that passive. And lets assume we only have 16 Zombies. So for your math to be correct 16 minions have to each kill at the very least FOUR mobs every 4 seconds aka 64 mobs every 4 seconds. And they also need to be perfectly distributed among all 16 Zombies. Do you see how crazy this sounds?

Ah fuck it, not getting into it again, was hard enough to convince others about how utterly useless it is back then. Dont need this again. Waste your points. But believe me, not getting Grave Intentions has NOT been me giving up any damage. Not getting it also enables me to use Brutality over the useless Fortify which is an a huge, 100% uptime, damage gain.

Go to the trade forums. There are several free crafting services there you can use.

Yup, the only way I would consider Unholy Might worth factoring into the dps is if using Umbilicus Immortalis + Sin’s Rebirth (not worth). In any case Brutality itself gives ~10% more damage than Rutheless, so you would have to argue more than a 33% uptime to make it worthwhile.

We also gained summon chaos golem for 8% physical damage reduction - Summon stone golem for ~200 Life regen per second (about 2,8% life per second regen).

Where it comes from 8 and 200 if it’s standard 4 and 100 ? I have only 116 life regen and 5 damage reduction.
How are Ruthless and Multistrike performing with zombies?

According to the wiki you will strike 1-2-3 (no Ruthless), 4-5-6 (no Ruthless), 7-8-9 (all Ruthless ~+138% dmg at rank 22.)

Does each zombie count the hits leading to the ruthless blows or is it pooled so you will be hitting ruthlessly constantly? Does the "counter" reset if your zombie kills with hits 1 thru 6, making Ruthless only good for bosses? Is there an interaction with zombie slam that makes it superior to just another damage gem? Thanks.

Thanks for the explanation - there's too many pages to keep track of all the conversations here. That does make sense, especially if going skeles, which I am. But then the question remains - what do you use to replace it? I guess in my case it'll help path to Vaal Pact.

My links are the following: zombie - minion dmg - feeding frenzy - empower - multistrike - melee phys.
Switching melee phys for Brutality does give 6.6% More dmg so that is worth considering, but I hadn't been using Fortify.

Honestly, that sounds like a nightmare to try and test. Especially since it’s almost guaranteed each Zombie has their own dps rotation. I have no idea if Rutheless retains or refreshes its cycle between mobs, but I’d guess it retains so long as you don’t leave the zone or something similar...it doesn’t really matter on trash in any case though. Rutheless is a very weak gem imo, granting only an average of 44% more damage at L20, going up the standard 1% per level, and delaying the entirety of the value.

Yea, the passives should come in handy for getting to VP if you go the Soul Tether route. For people that don't, they come in handy getting more %life. Like my tree.
