3.12.2b Patch Notes Preview:
Fixed a bug introduced in 3.12.0 where Skitterbots preferred pathing towards allies, rather than enemies.

We got "buffed" boys! Well, we get our Skitterbots back, but for the whole league so far we've been limping with neutered Skitterbots, only getting the 10% more multiplier for our 25% mana reserved.

(Also, this upcoming patch fixes grand heists.)

Generally the build gets all of its crit from the tree and is sitting around 40%.

I am sitting at 27% too using the BL 3.12 tree you posted. Not sure what I am missing to get it to the 40%.

Damage seems good to me though, just picked up a 6l Shavs with the trap/mine mod and a Watcher's Eye for more ES. Up to 7500 now.

First, thanks for the guide! It's my first miner and first CI/LL league and I'm finding it a lot more fun than I was expecting, really having a good time with it.

Has anyone done a comparison of all the various miner skills? Based on poe.ninja it seems like people are sticking with BL and GC, but I was wondering if any of the others that people were initially excited about ended up panning out.

Are you checking while using mines? And with 3 power charges? In pob your effect crit will be 90+

Feel like my dmg is pretty bad, dunno if it's just a question of gem lvls and char lvl. Did play a BL miner in metamorh, was quite a bit better as far as i remember.

1. Bad wepaon. There are two up for 15c and 25c which provide a 8-12.5% DPS boost.

2. You skip past arcane potency, not sure why. That is 10.6% DPS.

3. Really weird pathing in your skill tree. You should skill directly from throatseeker to the top central jewel socket, picking up prodigal perfection and arcane will on the way. Then socket a Large Thread of Hope and allocate all the nodes you want..herald of thunder, utmost intellect, arcane focus and practical application.

4. Take out the extra nodes in ES% and path to faith and steel and the top left jewel socket and use transcendent flesh. Any extra skill points can go toward divine judgement.

How's Invictus Solaris as an alternative shield until I can find a Prism Guardian - or should I just stick to spirit shields? I'm doing SSF.

In game, with the power charges I get it to 38%, in PoB it shows Crit Chance- 47% and Effective Crit Chance 71.91%. Stuff still melts pretty good. Not sure if I am missing something. Just getting back into the game after a few years away but was never a guru like you who know the in and out of all the skills and stuff, so thanks for the guide and tips.

It's definitely a super fun build. It took me a bit to get used to the movement and mine tossing/detonating. Now it's very smooth and fast clearing stuff and I get enough distance from bosses to avoid dying quick.

Thanks for feedback about crit chance, I have one more question though. I'm planning to go with this build with Secrets of Suffering:



Also I want to have all 3 profits from Explosive Expert Ascendancy. Im having chill and shock effect already on skitterbots and I'm adding to them Infernal legion Support for burning damage. Will this effect trigger +30% crti multiplier from ascendancy? I've checked other topics on Poe Forums and Reddit and I didn't find any clear answer on that, some ppl are thinking it's working, others not because ignite =/= burn (however ascendancy's description is clearly saying that +30% crit multi is added on BURNING, not ignited, enemies). Thanks for any information.
