Are you checking while using mines? And with 3 power charges? In pob your effect crit will be 90+
In game, with the power charges I get it to 38%, in PoB it shows Crit Chance- 47% and Effective Crit Chance 71.91%. Stuff still melts pretty good. Not sure if I am missing something. Just getting back into the game after a few years away but was never a guru like you who know the in and out of all the skills and stuff, so thanks for the guide and tips.
It's definitely a super fun build. It took me a bit to get used to the movement and mine tossing/detonating. Now it's very smooth and fast clearing stuff and I get enough distance from bosses to avoid dying quick.

Also I want to have all 3 profits from Explosive Expert Ascendancy. Im having chill and shock effect already on skitterbots and I'm adding to them Infernal legion Support for burning damage. Will this effect trigger +30% crti multiplier from ascendancy? I've checked other topics on Poe Forums and Reddit and I didn't find any clear answer on that, some ppl are thinking it's working, others not because ignite =/= burn (however ascendancy's description is clearly saying that +30% crit multi is added on BURNING, not ignited, enemies). Thanks for any information.
A few points.
1. Infernal legion works, but is a horrible choice. It screws over your mana reservation. Never use this. Get 1 fire damage somewhere, a ring or abyss jewel are easiest.
2. Secrets of suffering is really useless for this build. It will screw over your ascendancy and doesn’t do anything for lightning damage of note. 100% would not recommend, it’s really only good for cold damage spells.
I am playing BL and I have a question with the 6 link gem, I don't know if it is better Awakened Elemental Focus Support or Awakened Lightning Penetration Support.
In the pastebin appears Awakened Lightning Penetration Support but but I'm seeing that in almost all the final builds of this season they are using Awakened Elemental Focus Support, which is better?

Thanks for clearing this up, however still dont know where it will screw up with ascendancy since status effect from skitterbots can still proc standard status effects (I'm aware about lower effectivness of chill/burn/shock for something about half since skitterbots can apply some portion of them), but we have brittle (tremendous amount of crit chance), scorch (lowering ele res) and sap (lowering enemies damage) :/.

There is no "better option" in general. It all depends on how you feel the game.
Think about it this way:
- one adds plain damage
- the other counters damage mitigation from mobs
That being said it goes like this :
Plain added damage is good for clearing but not so good for bosses (Elemental focus).
Suppose you have 1 mil damage and add 60% and boss has 40% resist, that means you will inflict a total of 1.6*0.6 damage = 960 K damage
However if you use penetration (42% penetration) the same boss will only mitigate 40%*58% = 23.2 % . So your boss damage will be 1 mill - 23.2% mitigated = 768 K pure damage
So in this case ele focus is better.
Now, suppose you have another boss but it has 80% resist you will inflict with focus just 1.6*0.2 = 320 K
However if you use penetration (42% penetration) the same boss will only mitigate 80%*58% = 46.4 %
While it's true that your damage will only be 1 mil DPS and not 1.6 mil DPS, boss will now only mitigate 46.4* 1 mil = 464 K DPS and so your boss damage will be 536 K which is a huge increase from 320 K.
So, what I usually do is switch 1 skill with another for UBER bosses where plain damage just seems to low.

Elemental focus bricks your ability to ignite, so loses out to lightning pen or woke added light.
That isnt how it works. We dont inflict all three, it only allows us to inflict the shitty one with lightning damage.
Also, it will brick your ability to ignite, or force you to use some garbage like infernal legion on skitter bots.
Its good for GC I suppose (although I would much rather freeze), but thats it. Its super trash tier for BL.

I just realized that starting with some version, the guide dropped any mention of -res on helm. Is there any reason for that? AFAIK, it still works wonders and doesn't conflict with anything (even though it's a rather costly upgrade if we're looking for a 300+ ES hubris with that mod).
