How tanky is this version on a 5ex budget for ONLY bossing (A8 Sirus/Maven/Guardians etc.)? I am torn between BL Miner and DD Necro for my bossing character.
I have played some Mine builds in the past but they all have been squishy for me so don't have good experience with these builds.
I see a lot of people play the Ascendant version of BL miner, is it because it's better with more investment? Or is it competitive on a budget?

Ascendant is better on skills that don’t scale on AoE, but needs a significantly higher budget.
5ex budget won’t even get you started with the LL version sadly, so I would say not that tanky as you would be stuck with CI and more limited defensive options.
So, I got lucky last night and was able to buy a ilvl86 Hubris Circlet with "Ball Lightning has 24% increased AOE" for 35C
I used four Dense Fossils on it and a "Keep Prefixes" Craft to get this:
This item may not be all that strong in the usual sense, but for the actual investment, it seems very nice.
Any clear tips to actually craft something crazy with this? ^^
And I'd be very happy about other gearing tips.
PS: I didn't see much talk about it here, but in this league, I REALLY like a source of phasing. Being penned in during juicy rituals is just so bloody dangerous... hence the Quartz Flask.

Depends on how much you want to invest. It’s possible to force a -res roll on it, but will take a fair amount of investment.
Looks like it’s triple ES prefix, which is good. You can remove one of the suffixes with a harvest craft, life or fire, then scour off the suffixes. Slam it with a crusader orb, will probably hit junk - clean that off with harvest, add lightning res, then the next lightning augment will give you -res. Finish however you like.

Thanks for the advice! Seems really obvious now, but I'm not really experienced with crafting ^^
I just checked and it seems that there is another lightning suffix I could hit "reduced effect of shock". That seems like it should be a problem, right? Because the -res has a weight of 250 and the shock effect of 1500... It's forceable, but it'll cost me a suffix, it seems.

Missing quite a bit of ES.
Shavs is a low roll, divine it if you want to keep using it, or go for a 6 link w/ higher ES (divines are cheap).
Belt is carrying a lot of your res, but its missing possible 60-70 ES from a crystal belt.
Can't see cluster jewels on tree, but energy from naught would be a huge upgrade as well.
Rings provide good damage, but very little in the way of ES - Moonstones w/ T1 ES will help there a lot.
