Hi guys
How do you deal with the very low light radius on Low life?
My life is 100/1300 and I almost see nothing... it's super dark
do I have to take the arcane vision passive? I wasnt really planning that :/
i hated this also at the first time, but as beer posted, i got used to it after some weeks.
It's such a bad move from GGG to do so... the game is not pleasant anymore with no light radius.
I will use the passive skill just for that and do a bit less damage

hey beer, love the build so far! Maven fights have been smooth and killed Sirius tonight.
I'm getting into tier 15/16 maps and dying more often to one shots and feeling like my dps is starting to lag on certain encounters like metamorph. Any tips on what I should improve? Is there an endgame version of the build that uses cluster jewels?
Also, curious to hear if anyones played BL and pyroclast mine this league and how the two compare. Seems punishing to add another unique to make pyroclast viable.
I’ll answer the side first:
1. Your wand is pretty bad and can be improved with a few chaos. Pob is your friend for checking upgrades here.
2. No dps enchant on boots is costing you a lot of dps
3. No dps flasks is losing you a massive amount of dps as well.
4. Ele focus is killing your dps since it doesn’t allow you to ignite with the fire damage you need somewhere. Losing 40% crit multi right there.
Just fixing those four things, which is maybe a few dozen C or less will net you close to 30-40% more dps, if not more.
For pyroclast and BL, BL is a better/ safer clear spell, but has slightly lower boss dps. Pyro can just straight delete bosses, but like you mentioned the clear isn’t great and requires a ring.

Hah it does take a lot of getting used to. I’ve played LL builds off and on for years and the game looks weird without the tiny Light radius to me anymore.

Greetings all. This league is my first real effort at playing a miner. I unfortunately think i followed a bad guide and feel really weak. I am running GC and while clear is okay, i am getting trucked heading into upper tier maps. My questions are:
Is it realistic i can convert to Beer's build? or should i reroll, i play trade and have tons of regrets so respecing is doable.
Is GC worth or would i be better better switching to Pyroclast or Ball Lightning?
I have 2ex, ~80c, and about 4-6ex in liquid currency i could convert. I am willing to go all in, i hate ending a league before killing A8 Sirus and i feel like i have hit a wall with my build.
PS: Yes i know my flasks are fubar, its on my to do list, but just keep forgetting. And i realized arcane surge was leveled when it should of been.

There are a lot of really weird things going on with your gear. I’d recommend checking out the CI section, since that’s where it seems like you are at, and working off that.
Also, some of your gems aren’t leveled up.
Wand really needs help as well, 5c would get you a very significant upgrade.
What sort of wand would help? Any recommendations?

Hi all,
I wanna make a miner as boss killer only, i have a full geared map farmer, but it aint working with hard endgame bosses like sirus a9 and the new invitation.
So what should i go for, is it just do low life or is life allright, aswell as what skill to use ? again is only focus on bossing i dont care about map as i never gonna do that on the char.

I ended up adding a prefix on my helmet for light radius based on energy shield. It's too tiring for the eyes to play like that.
I didnt know this kind of prefix exists :D

You can do a life version w/ tremor that will do it. Survival will be total crap, but if you dont need it to map it should be fine.
LL version will be more dps, but more cash as well.

Should be fine, tree and gear are pretty similar to what you are rocking now.
