A lot of newer people are making the mistake of assuming Vaal Discipline is active for the CI Version. CI is only using Vaal Discipline as a "OH SHIT" please regen my ES instantly.


If you want fit Discipline as a active aura for CI you need to do one the following:


1. Follow Shakcentral's advice in his new POB and put Frostbite in the trigger wand.

2. Drop all points in the tree south of Elusive and pick up reduced mana reserved nodes and use Enlighten in the links.

3. Get a Frostbite on Hit ring.

Oh okay, thanks a lot for the clarification, you're absolutely right. I'm new to CI builds and I mistakenly thought discipline was a no-brainer.

Only If you don't follow Shakcentral's advice on the trigger wand setup in the new POB. At level 80 with trigger craft and a lvl 3 enlighten you can fit in discipline with his new setup.

Hello world.
I've reached 85 lvl and stucked. Have 6.6k ES and still getting oneshot kills (3-4 per map).... even some of white mobs can kill me with 2-3 hits. It's very annoying, what am I doing wrong ?

My gear is:


Character name - SputnikVee in my caharcter list.

And gameplay is very exhausting... it's a piano.. I have to push 4 flask non-stop to not be killed in massive packs and constantly look after vaal skills charge + vortex + cold snap + one more hitting skill to curse. Do I use it propperly ? It seems that I've lost some key of this build....

Slightly upgraded Gloves, Amulet and Ring (was tired of not having a Portal gem) but the first big upgrade to this character was the es on block shield I purchased for 1ex.

I'm at 9200 ES now and I'm pretty sure nothing can kill me now. Should finish my atlas tomorrow.

Why dont you use despair as offensive curse or as build-in curse in witchfire brew flask. It is said that it makes cursed enemeys to take increased damage from DoT effects.

How do we use Malevolence, Discipline and Frostbite in the same time ? mana is not enough

check the tree of livejamie he has some reductions of manareservation in the tree, additional enlighten 3/4 depending on your budget.

Also to be more tanky you can look into getting glancing blows. try get a cast when dmg taken setup with immortal call / enfeble or tempchains.

If you get all the LL pieces in ShakCentral's POB you will have around 3-4mil Shaper DPS and should kill Map Bosses with Ease and Conqueror in 10-25 second.

LL min maxed at 10mil + DPS Can kill all bosses in 3-5 secs including Conqueror's.

I currently have a POB with 28mil DPS but requires near perfect harvest Crafting.

Hey could you share the 28mil DPS POB? I'm quite curious to see how you did it. I didn't think this build could go that high in DoT DPS even with perfect gear.

Has anyone looked into what amount of extra mana reservation would be needed to drop the Prism guardian for a high ES shield and then use a Divergent Blood Magic which grants 60% extra damage while on low life to support your three auras instead?

We are already grabbing the Soverignty node to make it work even before we lose the 25% mana reservation from the shield.
