how is it that some ppl have so much money in this game? i been playing from the start and the most i had was 10ex which i have 2 left. am i doing some thing wrong?

" mostly luck and running higher level maps (in theory) T14+ is probably better for the higher level drops and where I have gottne most of my EX this league (although I did get an exa in act 6 this time!!!) I have found (maybe just me) that as I zoom about the map using Cyclone/cwc/Desecrate/Spirit offering I break vases etc... and have had over 10 ex from those alone I think I peaked just over 50ex a few weeks ago then went MENTAL buying some expensive stuff as could afford to for the first time in any league :) better gear for higher tier for more currency for better gear (rinse and repeat) ~ If it moves, kill it ~

I bring up that site and go through my inventory when I need currency. Divination cards are a big seller. But be warned when you get cards worth 2+ exalteds it brings the scammers to your door. Whenever someone puts currency in screen and then closes right away....watch it. I always keep a crappy card worth nothing to put in screen the second someone does this. Scam the scammer imo. Level high value gems in your weapon swap right away at start of a new league. This league I started with 6 Raise Zombie gems. At 20/20 I corrupted them. BAM! 5 exalted for each one I got 21/20. Pro tip: When you sell something worth an exalted or more. Don't just look at first 3 or 4 listings. Many times those are just people listing items, not selling, hoping someone down values the item and then they whisper you and buy it and relist for correct amount. This is probably not new to anyone...but just in case it isn't. This has been Pip-n-Tip's pro-tips. | |
"Hey Kingx! You're not doing anything wrong at all. Experienced players have the benefit of knowing which combo and value of mods are hard to come by. After a while, they take advantage of drops that can have a crafted mod added to them to be much more valuable. Also, they don't play SSF. SSF isn't a moneymaker. People make their money by trading items their build doesn't use. Also, I don't make fast builds. So players without my limitations can do 15 maps in an hour; while I do 6 or 7 maps in an hour. They spend extra currency to re-roll maps with inconvenient mods, I play them all. It's nothing you're doing wrong at all. 10 Ex is HUGE by the way.
