" Is it easy to achieve that option? I found a rare helmet with +40% Ice Nova damage is around 1-2ex . A helm with Ice Nova Damga + -9% Cold resistance is from 5 ex. Should I buy a rare one and craft myself or buy the crafted one? |

" The -9% pen mod is not that rare. I would say about 20-30%. Problem is to get that and rest too like life resist etc :) And my tip here. Check PoB for head enchant. It doesn't give that much dps boost. In my setup it is about 4.7% If you min/max sure but i would rather get nice base than crap base (bad type or low ilvl) + enchant. | |

" When i play caster I usually go for high armour helmet like Eternal Burgonet. This league we got a lot new bases like Hunter, Warlord etc so check for mods they give you and buy what you want. While rolling with fossils there is always chance you get mods from your base. For example Hunter can roll "Adds (21–28) to (41–48) Cold Damage to Spells" and its favored since we are using frigid+prismatic+pristine. If I cast Frostbolt twice and cast Ice Nova once, does that all 10 balls (2 waves of Frostbolt) spread Ice Nova or only 1 wave?

What i think to add: Awakened added cold instead of hypothermia and awakened GMP to frostbolt. ALso thank you for this build before 3.9 . | |

Hey loving the build so far, I'd been wanting to try out the frostbolt/ice nova playstyle for awhile due to Mathil liking it a lot and this was the perfect choice. I just have one question for now, would using the Frostbolt threshold jewel to get 2 extra projectiles be good? Or is the enhanced projectile speed bad for us somehow?

As someone already asked, I also want to know if I cast Frostbolt multiple times, do all balls project Ice Nova or just one set?

Also thanks for the build. Running the Farrul-Fur Tailwind Version of the build. Just killed the Awakener on stage6. Im pretty confident stage8 is also no problem. At first i started playing with the delve version, running the omeyocan boots. After playing most of the time with those, it was impossible for me to go back and miss the onslought buff. Just feels so good, same with tailwind now. To counter the degen of the boots on high mana i used cloak of the defiance = cheap, free mom +xtra 10%. was sitting on 5khp/5k mana with around 2k es and 50/50 mom (if it works like that). Still have a lot of room to improve my items, all jewels are selffound ;D my boots were an crafting experiment basically wasting 2ex for 40 mana. My question: How important is the pandemonious blind ? Switching it with my current amulet, pandemonious would give me "only" 6k dps increase (if Pob is calculating correctly, dunno if it counts in the penetration). And only an increase if the enemy is chilled. My rare amu with spelldmg, crit multi and cast speed does more. So im not sure about spending 7-8 ex "just" for the blind. Or am im missing something else ? Anyway, thanks again for the build. Alot of fun. Quite tanky, but only if you play it activeley(which is a positive aspect in my opinion). |
