Actually on a related note, does anyone doing this build have a video of clearing t16 red maps? Maybe Chimera + Metamorphs. Kind of curious how quickly this might clear compared to other builds I'm weighing this against.

Hey, if you wanna come and see a decent clear with this build. Pm me ingame, i can clear as fast duo as i can solo. Maybe only boss / meta that takes a second or 2 longer depending on boss / mods on meta.
TY. I'm currently comparing this to a cast on crit lightning orb assassin build and like both very much. The boss damage on this seems far higher, leading me only to worry about clear and maybe survival since there is no cheesy es gain on hit being abused in this build. Being able to off screen things is very attractive, but since you cant freeze metamorphs I was worried that would be an issue (doesn't like like a build that can face tank them) but it seems like t16 metamorphs might pop so fast that isn't an issue?

In my case, metamorphs are easier then some boss fights. They pop much faster than most bosses, if you just play it right. I have no issue with clear speed, ofc people with speed mapping builds are faster, but i can "zoom" fast enough without even thinking much about it, as i know i have no problem with bosses at all.

TY for the response. Are there mods the build simply does not like to do? I imagine ele reflect, but any other really bad mods?

Between cold snap, frost bomb, decoy totems and the normal playstyle is the build too 'busy'? I currently play a skeleton summoner and its plenty busy which is not an immediate turn off (summon skeletons, desecrate, offerings, bone armor, manual curse).

I feel this build might win me over, as I really do like ranged. How does it do running into the darkness in delve? Very flask reliant I imagine (as opposed to health/es on hit builds?).
has anybody brought this build to sirius yet? while i don't think it will have much issue, i would still like to see a video
Follow up: Does anyone have a video of this build with Sirus? Awaken 6 or 8?
In general any videos of the build in 3.9 would be great, if only because end game is so much different from how it felt in 3.8.

You don't need to use Cold Snap or Frost Bomb or Decoy Totem unless you want to. Getting the frenzy charges from cold snap is nice if you're not using Farrul's though. The extra skills are more something you use while you're "waiting" for a boss to appear or phase.

Start metamorph --> Decoy Totem --> Cold Snap --> Frost Bomb --> Frostbolt --> Ice Nova spam. Or just frostbolt and ice nova.

Sirus only has one dangerous attack (the DIE! beam) and it doesn't really hurt until the final phase where it's instant death if you don't have a freeze flask (maybe bleed too?) and get hit by it. If you're looking to make a bosskiller character this isn't the best choice. There's a lot of visual clutter in the fight and he jumps all over the place so it's annoying, whereas a miner can just blow their wad instantly and a Herald of Agony character is always doing damage as long as you're hitting the boss every once in a while. With enough practice I'm sure it becomes less annoying to do.

For regular mapping Farrul's and tailwind/elusive boots are great. Farrul's makes sure you always have frenzy charges which you won't get as you're zoom zooming through maps because you won't be casting cold snap most of the time.
TY for the response. Visual clutter generally does not bother me, especially as Sirus has a lot of audio clues as to what he does (I'm playing a skelemancer right now which has like, 50-70 minions on screen during Vaal Summon Skeleton so no stranger to lots of things going on).

My general concern was boss dps compared to another build I'm weighing this one against. I was very impressed by the 3.8 Shaper Video kill, and the towerless blight map, but curious to I guess *see* it on Sirus or clearing a rippy t16 map in 3.9, to get a sense of it in action.

Totally understand on totem/orb/etc. Makese sense. Sorry for all the questions, just really intrigued by the build but want to kick the tires before going all in with exalts.

Question Regarding your setup: do you swap armor/boots for bosses? or do you run your setup with Farruls/Tailwind boots all the time? Guess I just kind of realized you don't need a 6L in your chest with this build, which honestly makes it much cheaper than I original was scoping out.

What does the glorious vanity gem give you when you take CI?

Also how many chromes did it take you to get the colors on your perfect form?

Right now I have a 5L Pledge, 6L es armor and koam's roots. Thoughts on koams roots vs skyforths?

I am only level 70 so missing a lot of damage, but atm have maybe 5-6 ex worth of currency.

Would best upgrade be getting a 6L pledge first? I was gonna buy a 5L perfect form also beforehand.

Also what would I use gem wise in my 5L pledge?
Loving the build, as many people before I too can recommend going farrul+tailwind, feels so much nicer mapping with them. Taken on everything so far: awakening 8 conquerors and Sirus, elder and shaper, Aul in delve etc. Only got Uber Elder left, but still farming fragments.

Small changes that some people may consider:

- I got some knockback chance on two of my jewels, it's a nice little defensive mechanic and pushes enemies more into the final ice nova repeats

- Getting corrupted blood immunity on one jewel helped a bit with Sirus

- Arcane surge is linked to my flame dash, I dash all the time so it's up constantly even if it takes two casts; this allowed me to link frostbolt to onslaught which feels too nice to pass up

- Linked lightning golem to CWDT along with steelskin, little dude's too squishy to bother resummonning him all the time

- For mapping sometimes I swap conc effect for inc area just so I can press vaal ice nova in the middle of legion and cover all the frozen mobs - with conc effect, chaining kinda ends in the middle.
