Thanks! It'd probably be more of a PoB project rather than actually playing it though, since I don't play enough to get that much currency nowadays.

I missed launch due to being out of town. Came back to check poe ninja and a ton of people are doing skele mages this league, why?

Might have to do this, I haven't played skeles in a year but I've done one of your old cold skele builds and many phys skele builds before that.

Well, minions got a nerf in general due to elemental equilibrium being taken down, but the fleshcrafter unique allows for mages tri element attack to be suddenly useful, so I guess it's a no brainer in that respect.

Also, the big skelly guide and minion runners are doing skelly mages this league, so everyone's following along I guess.

There's also probably a popular streamer doing it too...

Mages are popular mostly cuz yeah, EE got nuked and mages clear as fast as you move. It's been pretty good for two leagues now, with this being the third.

Are phys skele's version of this still viable? Also, would there be any way to work in determination for aura's with losing too much damage?

Are they viable, yes. But defense is an issue.

I tried Archers vs Mages and I felt better with mages. But even with shield and block, this build is not tanky.


My current setup https://pastebin.com/HESvANC0 (about 2.7m Sirus Dps without any charges without vaal skellies)

Keep the fleshcrafter interaction in mind (simulated this with -50 coldres)

Blah, really trying to stay away from Golem builds cause of all the primordial stuff they need. I did skele mages 2 leagues in a row, was hoping to go back to good ole warriors.

I suspect warrior DPS (phys) is pretty similar to last league where it was still a very good build. Cold...not so sure (look how they murdered my boi)

Poor ILL3AT... Will keep checking back to see if you update the warrior pob's and stuff. Not really in a hurry or anything as am still doing endgame junk on my league starter. (First time Sirus kill that wasn't your skele build!)
Fleshcrafter is practically required if any kind of cold conversion minion builds want to remain viable. The combination EE and cluster jewel nerfs have drastically impacted mitigating enemy resistances.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.
