[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!
This is a cool feature I missed.
If you hover over gems or unique jewels or nodes on the tree etc etc in POB, and then press F1, you will be instantly taken to the new wiki for the game based on what you were hovering over. |

" it works!!! I noticed that POB has already been updated to reflect the aura cluster jewel changes for Uncompromising and Self Control. When I added them into our build, I can add in another 25% aura and have it fit. Right now I have the following enabled in POB with our tree and the added second medium cluster jewel: Determination, Discipline, Arctic Armor, Defiance Banner and Herald of Ash When Tempest Shield is updated, I can then simply swap HOA out and put the new TS in and we should be good to go. We don't even need an extra socket because TS will simply replace Reckoning. This is VERY good I think. What do you guys think? Последняя редакция: AndyLovesHisBge. Время: 19 окт. 2021 г., 15:01:28

Here is a POB that has the second medium cluster in it to help fit in TS. We are still level 96 with this and spell block will be capped once TS is added and Safeguard is updated.
The damage looks so high because of HOA. If you are a damage fiend, you can keep HOA, if you like more defense you can use Arctic Armor. https://pastebin.com/9qTDD7k5 I think with HOA, we could clear 6 million in DPS once the awakening gem changes are added, and probably be around 5.5m with arctic armor. As long as POB is not fooling us, I feel like we are in a really good spot. |
|
I think the build is already super tanky and I would prefer to have HOA myself.

" I keep waffling on this. I love damage but Fortify was the single strongest defensive layer in the game and we lost it. I don't have a good feel for how tanky we will be with out it. Luckily if everything fits mana wise as we hope, it is really simple to swap HOA and AA to test things out as we go. Just need to recolor sockets. |

Your POB only has 20% spell block? Is this made up by tempest storm/shield?

I noticed when fooling around with the numbers that we may not need Mage Hunter any more on our large cluster if we use Tempest Shield (I will know for sure when TS gets added).
If we want to replace Mage Hunter, these would be our choices: Sap Psyche: 20% increased Spell Damage 30% increased Mana Regeneration Rate Regenerate 1% of Energy Shield per second if you've Cursed an Enemy Recently Practice Caster: 20% increased Spell Damage 5% increased Cast Speed 35% chance to Avoid interruption from Stuns while Casting Burden Projection: 30% increased Spell Damage 8% chance to Knock Enemies Back on Hit with Spell Damage I think of these 3 I like Practiced Caster the best. We need a little more stun protection and I think this node would get us to 85% (we get 50 from Unwavering Focus but we lost our other stun from the tree change in 3.16). |

" Tempest Shield gives 25% Spell Block at level 20. The tree does not yet recognize the Spell Block nodes in Safeguarding, which add up 12%. 25+12=37, which doubled by Glancing Blows is 74%. Which is more than enough when you add back in the Sanctuary nodes (of which we may be able to save a point or two now). Последняя редакция: AndyLovesHisBge. Время: 19 окт. 2021 г., 15:01:00

" Edit: Oh I see you guys came to similar conclusions before me :) Nice, might still be dicey because of Hextouch's 130% mana multi though? Should be doable with enlighten back in there and one skill back in the unset ring I suppose. We can also trade aura power for reservation efficiency with the aura mastery node. This allows us to free how many points exactly? Arcane Guarding can be dropped completely (4), but Safeguard should stay for the Block Mastery that gives us 45% spell dmg. We can also drop 1 small node from Sanctuary and trade the Mage Hunter cluster Notable for something else (Burden Projection maybe? Gives Spell Knockback and with our fast hitting incinerate? Might be a useful defense). This leaves us with 38% Spellblock, so the 50% on top is still a bit overkill, but I couldn't find another way to drop more without dropping our regular block below max. So that's 5 points freed, which is pretty nifty! Where to invest these now? Maybe 3 into Practical Application to get 100% stun avoidance while casting/Channeling? Mabye 3 into Explosive Impact for more dmg and some aoe? Maybe 4 into Melding and drop unnatural instinct for some other cheaper jewel, so that we get the nice notable there for 129 extra life/257 es? Added benefit to lower the budget a bit :P Maybe 2 points into Precision to fix our dex and add 10% cast speed? Some decent options I think! Последняя редакция: DerNachbar. " We still have a 140 mana left over. I think we may be ok. Although like you said, a simple cheap Enlighten 2 would fix any issues we might have. As for extra points, I saved 4 from Arcane Guarding as you mention but I put all of them into the second medium cluster jewel which allowed us to have all the auras together. Any other we save can be used else where. I listed out of our choices to replace Mage Hunter with above. I liked Practiced Caster to help with Stun and cast speed never hurts. My tree already has Explosive Impact taken as that is where I put the points when I removed the Megalomaniacs jewel. |
