The game is to hard

The game's challenge is in a form that is unforgiving to anything that deviates from particular set of choices.
Reminds me of a choose your own adventure a childhood friend of mine made. The end of the dungeon was a room with 100 doors. All of them but one would kill you. edit: But I do realize the game won't always be like that. It takes time to balance all the options in order to make as many of them viable ones. And beta has many months to go to tune all that. Последняя редакция: Redfeather_1975#0068. Время: 29 мар. 2013 г., 13:14:39

I just want a reason to keep playing, I cant handle that my best form of getting rich right now, would be to make new chars and farm early areas, I have over 250% rarity on my ranger lvl 68 and I SWEAR new chars find more currency because she isnt that efficient at end game maps yet, and anywhere below the end game maps is lower drops cuz the level of areas, IT sucks they penalize you for playing in areas outside your level, or else I could just play in easier earlier parts of the game, like in d2, if I wasnt rich/strong enough to do hell meph runs, could just do nightmare meph runs, and still find good shit, just not the same level of godly drops, diff tier of items

" Actually it's completely logical that you don't get full currency drops in areas greatly below your level. The reasoning should be blatantly obvious: If this were not the case, a lvl 70 could go to a lvl 10 area and proceed to annihilate everything in seconds and rake in the currency. That would be pretty ridiculous. To the OP: I'm confused by your ramblings because in your thread title you say the game is too hard, but in your post you say that it is too easy. (technically you said the game was to hard, which means hard is a destination apparently *shrug*) As for the idea that PoE is an MMORPG. You don't have to go any further than the first letter of that acronym to know that it is not an MMORPG. The first M stands for Massively. As in, a "massive" number of players in the same zone/instance. I don't think anyone who has access to dictionary.com would consider the number six to mean "massive". |

" Agreed nothing massive about 6 people in an instance. |

Does not matter what you call a game, matters how it plays.

Too hard my arse :)) First I thought this was a troll post, but it doesn't seem to, lol. The mobs are already facerolls, with some annoying difficulty spikes, what do you want, to sneeze at the mouse and kill the whole instance? Yes, PoE has some issues, but game being too difficult is hardly one, I'd say that overall, the game is way, way too easy, and it sadly compensates with RNG and XP penalty type of annoyances for its lack in the challenge department.

" Are you new to ARPGs or something? All ARPGs are easy if you have the right build and gear. Still, I find it hard to believe you facerolled on your own on your very first try, which means you either tried many builds and figured it out (like you do with any ARPG) or you used one you found online, which doesn't really count. |
