Last Epoch is definitely better than POE now, and here's why.....

" Quite. Here, I actually can. And fortunately for myself, neither I or anyone I play the game with have experienced any of the performance issues everyone else apparently has (for whatever reason), so for us, yes, there is a vast difference. ...narf

" That's quite beside the point. POE simply isn't designed for group play except for very specific and dedicated groups. But if you're just horsing around in white maps, I guess you can play it any way you want. LE is neat and definitely has a potential, but it's just not there yet. PoE is simply unbeatable content-wise and the devs keep delivering. The only things PoE is lacking is performance, smoothness, maybe some QoL features. But I'm pretty optimistic that PoE 2 will easily solve this and when that happens I will really feel sorry for the competitors.
I'm all for a healthy competition because it forces improvement, but I just not seeing it. Resource wise only Blizzard has a shot at PoE with their D4, but lately Blizzard has been a pretty big joke. |

" Fortunately, I, and nearly everyone else that has ever played PoE, including the lead developers who have acknowledged and posted about this many times, know this is quite the significant amount of bull. " Nobody said anything about being in white maps o.O , I'll assume that was a poor attempt at an implication of playing low tier content. It may not have been supportive of YOUR point, but that does not mean MY reply does not go along with MY point. You did initially quote MY post, after all. My initial comment was simply directed toward the existence of the feature at all. The comment of performance issues was simply being proactive and countering the replies that generally follow any kind of supportive notion for the game in it's current state. While I feel for those who are having issues, for whatever reason, these problems do not plague myself, my wife, or our friends that we generally play the game with. As such, these problems are completely irrelevant to us. Add to that the the feature for group play does in fact exist and function (even if it could be better designed [I fully agree with you here]), then for myself and others, Last Epoch serves no higher use for entertainment than PoE when we are looking for group play. When it comes down to it, everyone is comparing a newer product that is incomplete and still in testing phases. This oddly sounds familiar, kind of reminiscent of 2011 when everyone was doing the exact thing with PoE and Diablo. Years later, we have league after league after league of content crammed into a single title. Unless a title has all of the same content, update periods, features and options --- it's a null comparison. Others may disagree, others will disagree. That's fine, it is there right to do so. But I do not see the point in comparing unfinished products with another that is far more complete, as well as being dated and awaiting an updated sequel release. The true comparison would be Last Epoch and Path of Exile 2, not our current rendition of the game. ...narf Последняя редакция: SqueakyToyOfTerror#0940. Время: 11 мая 2021 г., 10:19:18

" Feel free to know my game experience better than I do myself. While it may be true that many others are experiencing issues, it is just ignorance to assume it affects everyone and trying to call bullshit on another users claim of experience. ...narf Последняя редакция: SqueakyToyOfTerror#0940. " Yes because of course no one would misrepresent the truth or engage in hyperbole on the internet. Claiming you have never experienced performance issues in PoE... well... you do you, and we can all just roll our eyes. Hopefully somebody from GGG can reach out to you and solve all their documented issues. I mean honestly can you really sit there and type that you have never have texture issues, invisible enemies, frame drops, stuttering, input lag, among dozens of other issues? What do you think these GGG performance posts, manifestos, hell 80% of the tech parts of this forum are about? I found it hilarious, for example, when Shroud, on a rig north of $20k, was incredulous on how badly PoE performed. Again, I'm short of calling you a troll or liar, just that I dont think anyone finds you credible or believable when you say PoE runs flawless for you. " Not once did I say never. I am speaking currently. Think as you will, and feel free to know the thoughts of all. It does not change the fact that during this league, NO I HAVE NOT HAD ISSUES. Other than being booted on launch day as everyone does at each launch, I have not even experienced a crash. Yes, I have had frame drops. As you will in any game. But I have never dropped below 60fps, which for me is acceptable. Most of the time, I sit between 100 and 150fps. I have no complaints. But I am wasting my time with you on this, so feel free to feel, think, and say as you like. ...narf Последняя редакция: SqueakyToyOfTerror#0940. Время: 11 мая 2021 г., 10:14:19
