One thing I'm trying right now is dropping Necromantic Aegis. Its extremely good early league (and its still the way to go if you get a mirrortier shield), but if your budget isn't measured in the hundreds of exalts I feel like you're better off just dual wielding +2 wands.

For me, going from aegis to DW is 10 freed skill points, the same damage, more block, and I can recraft the "Trigger a socketed spell" suffix they all have to fill in dex or chaos res.

Its not that the Aegis route isn't great, just that the shields you need to make it worthwhile don't exist this league.

This might be a solution, it's all about simulating what's best in the end.
Since we're scaling alot of crit multi with Kingmaker, Vicious Bite and Precise Commander a shield will ultimately outscale 2 wands (Or atleast it did for me in the past) due to Power Charge scaling.

I crafted my current shield this league for 15 ex which wasn't too bad. All you need to do is buy a 2/2 Power/frenzy charge shield with 1 free suffix (or make one yourself) -> Aisling Slam Double dmg and bench craft Cold to Chaos dmg and I think a shield will outperform the double wand setup.
I'd have to test the numbers in PoB though.
Currently I'm only running 1 cluster so running double wands might actually be better than a shield during to the lack of crit multi.

To my knowledge, there's no way to make our AG curse enemies with Frostbite unfortunately.

I literally can't do sirus unless i'm aura stacking, so I'm pretty 100% disappointed in this build. I can't even brush up against the fucking storms running by them without instant death...

I have to say though, if you're unable to avoid the Sirus storms, this build definitely isn't for you.

Once you learn the fight, it's actually incredibly easy. You can get hit by most abilities, it's just that certain oneshot abilities like Die Beams, Shaper Slams and Storms will oneshot you. Those are easily dodgeable abilities though. Nothing dark soul about them. They're highly telegraphed and very easy to dodge.

If you can't do Sirus without an aura stackking build, that's a problem with you. Most people don't play aura stackers in this game.

I'm using that exact setup to avoid getting curses on my rings and they both apply perfectly fine. Its better if you get rare gloves though, because then you can roll chaos res.

Idk how anyone could call this build bad, it's perfectly good. 20k EHP and sirus doesnt even get to cast mechanics before he dies, seems like a PBKAC to me.

Ooooh right! Never actually considered synthesis implicits, didn't know it existed. Sounds like an excellent idea and should definitely work.
It makes itemizing your rings much easier to be honest.

I'm even thinking about the prospects of running Assassin's Mark ring with a +1 Curse 2% Life regen Chest on the AG to run tripple curse.

But how would the cold conversion work for the carrion golems if you use any other gloves except triads?

We're just replacing the AG's gloves with synth gloves so it can apply frostbite instead of elemental weakness. We still use triads. Triads can be corrupted with ele weakness on hit, so having ele weakness gloves on us and frostbite gloves on the AG means we don't need any curse on hit rings. Much easier to get get really good rings without that necessity.

Um, wait... it was my understanding that I can only apply 1 curse (unless I have a +1 curse from body armour/passive tree)

So now I have a ring that adds frostbite.

If I have triads with elemental weakness, will that curse work?
