Hey everyone!

For 3.14 Ultimatum I decided to try out a popular build, and I am enjoying it a lot! There is a lot of not so league start friendly items, but there are ways to level this build while building up money for those chase items! I will include some of my suggestions for leveling, but keep in mind that I like to use the skill ASAP, so my suggestions may no be the most optimal.

I have taken influence from CuteDog as well as many poe.ninja top builds when making this guide. I hope this build helps some of you!

League of nerfs!

- Pretty much all support gems were nerfed across the board, so keep that in mind. I'm not gonna name them all, because none were game breaking though it is going to be a damage loss (welcome to 3.15).

- Elementalist:

Liege of the Primordial: No longer has 25% increased Effect of Buffs granted by Golems, or 25% increased Effect of Buffs granted by your Golems per Summoned Golem. It now has 100% increased Effect of Buffs granted by your Golems.

Elemancer:
No longer has 35% chance to Avoid Elemental Ailments per Summoned Golem.

- Deadly Ailments: (read line under)
Now has a 150% Cost and Reservation Multiplier (previously 130%).
Supported Skills now deal 30-44% more Damage with Ailments (previously 45-64%).
Supported Skills now deal 80% less Damage with Hits (previously 10%).

- I included this because of the final line where support skills deal less damage with hits. To my knowledge this does not affect burning dps. I will make changes if I learn otherwise.

- Trade Greater Multiple Projectiles for Swift Affliction on boss

Body 6L:

CWDT 3L:
Ball Lightning lvl4 - Greater Multiple Projectiles - Cast when Damage Taken lvl1

Helmet 4L: (Asenath's Chant)
Flame Wall - Wave of Conviction - Flammability - Combustion

Aura 4L:
Enlighten - Malevolence - Anger - Precision

- You can swap in Wrath for Anger for slightly more dps. Read Ascendancy tab if you are confused on why we scale none-fire dps
- You can swap in Precision for Clarity if your chance to hit is 100% (also clarity and precision can be whatever level you feel is best for your mana/accuracy)

Flame Dash
- You can use Dash or Smoke Mine instead if you prefer that playstyle

Notes:
- Don't worry about Empower and 6L golems until you have most other items built, just make sure you can use all 5 golems when you can
- Ball Lightning setup only once you get Xoph's Nurture, since Xoph's Nurture gives us Life Recovery per ignite
- Clarity level depends on what feels best/gives the most casts if you hold down attack. I find that Clarity level 8 feels best for me.
- Precision level depends on how much mana you are willing to sacrifice. Keeping it at level 1 is okay, but the closer you get to 100% accuracy, the more damage you can do

Xoph's Nurture
- Mandatory Bow for this build
- Great suriviability with the Recovery mechanic
- Free Ignite Proliferation link (7th link)
- Pretty good damage scaling

Quiver

ilvl 80+ Hunter Penetrating Arrow Quiver
- We want the pierce for the smoother map clearing
- +(21–25)% to Fire Damage over Time Multiplier with Attack Skills (Hunter)
- Life
- Elemental Damage with Attack Skills
- Dexterity
- Resistance

Body

Hyrri's Ire
- Gives tons of damage, and we can make any element ignite
- Great defense with the dodge
- Extra dexterity, becuase we need a lot to equip bow

Boots

ili 73+ Hunter Boots (Any base is good)
- Movement Speed
- Life
- Resistance
- Ignites you inflict deal Damage (8–10)% faster (Hunter)
- Dexterity

Helm

Asenath's Chant
- Allows us to automatically cast Flame Wall, WoC, and Flammability
- Good ES and attack speed

Alternative: (place auras in helmet)

Blizzard Crown (implicit gives a lot of flat added cold damage)
- Life
- Resistance
- Dexterity
- +1 to Level of Socketed AoE Gems (craft)

Helm Enchants:
- Burning Arrow has 24% increased Debuff Effect
- 15% of Burning Arrow Physical Damage gained as Extra Fire Damage

Gloves

ilvl 50+ Incursion Apothecary's Gloves
- +(46–48)% to Fire Resistance & (45–52) to (75–78) added Fire Damage against Burning Enemies (Incursion)
- Life
- Resistance
- Dexterity
- Projectiles Pierce an additional Target (crafted)

Alternative:

ilvl 80+ Hunter Apothecary's Gloves
- +(13–16)% to Fire Damage over Time Multiplier (Hunter)

Amulet

The Primordial Chain
- More golems = more damage becuase of the Elementalist Ascendancy

Annoint: Burning Brutality

Rings

Ring 1:
Berek's Respite
- Ignite Proliferation on kill, which makes clearing super nice

Ring 1 alt: (for bossing)
Replica Emberwake
- Faster Ignite makes for some insane DPS
- Reduced Ignite duraton is bad, but overall the faster ignite outweights the negative

Ring 2:
Any Rare Ring
- Resistance
- Life
- Dexterity
- Adds (6–9) to (13–15) Physical Damage to Attacks (or any element)
- Attack Speed
- Non-Channelling Skills have (-10–-9) to Total Mana Cost (only if you are having mana problems)

Belt

Dyadian Dawn
- Ignites you inflict are fater is a huge dps increased
- Decent Resistance
- Good Life

Flasks

- Atziri's Promise (DPS since we ingite any damage)
- Cinderswallow Urn (ES, Mana, Life recovery on kill, also some dps)
- Tate of Hate (more defense and DPS)
- Quicksilver Flask
- Quartz or Basalt Flask
I like to have a Curse Immune and Bleed Immune. Our Ascendancy makes us immune to elemental ailements already.

- Swap Deadly Ailments for LMP on boss

Flame Wall - Combustion - Unbound Ailments - Deadly Ailments

Flame Dash - Faster Casting

Summon Stone Golem

Summon Flame Golem (use in that order as you get your Ascendancy)

Later swap:
- LMP for GMP
- Elemental Proliferation of Ignite Proliferation


Leveling Items: (what to look for)
- Burning arrow converts physical damage to fire, so highest dps bow (pdps) will be the strongest
- Once you get your third Ascendancy you can scale other elements and it will contribute to ignite dps (you can look for edps on bow now)
- Try to keep a Penetrating Quiver, it leveling a bit smoother

Helpful Leveling Uniques:
- Death's Harp
- Tabula Rasa
- Goldrim
- Berek's Respite (expensive but you can use at level 20)
- Meginord's Girdle
- Drillneck

- Spells will scale better as you are leveling on witch tree
- Scaling spell damage also scales the damage of Flame Wall
- You will need to make slight modifications to my leveling tree in PoB if you are leveling this way (take spell damage in tree)

We use flammability through the helm, so CoH is useless.

I used a different body armour, helmet, CWDT setup, and other gem links.

I explain that I used poe.ninja for build ideas and then made this. I did not go to any forum/video and copy them. Please read my guide before you belittle me.

I appreciate criticism, but blind hatred is annoying.

I've never really used that mod before unless I played Occultist. I am not sure where else you can get that mod. Sorry for lack of info on that :P

Major difference are:

Helmet
Blizzard Crown -> Asenath's Chant
I mention both options in the guide. Asentath's Chant is a unique but allows good mobility (auto casting). Blizzard crown offers flat dps.

Body Armour
Hunter Rare -> Hyrri's Ire
Hunter Rare offers an additonal curse for more dps. Hyrri's Ire offers flat dps for more ignite dps.

He is not using CWDT Ball Lightning which I think is superior to Steelskin for this build.

Gem links are a bit different due to the way we are cursing/using support spells.
