Does anyone else think/feel that 3.18xpac (Archnemesis mods)+league might be a big (shadow) NERF?

" That's actually a big question. Don't wanna be rude but players know the game much better than GGG... Especially streamers and die-hard players. I can almost bet (and maybe I will be wrong) if two players are seated right next to each other, their DEV and a serious streamer, whoever that might be or a player that knows the game well in general, the DEV is gonna lose, not only by progress but by knowledge too. GGG in general, yes, they should know, but I think they don't grasp deeply enough their changes to the game since, they don't play as much as a serious player. Not to mention that different DEVS are responsible for different stuff. So seeing a whole picture might be even harder for them. New mute system is terrible - no trade... I'm sure it will be okay.
The biggest issue in the past wasn't usually the individual mods on the rares. It was the damn Auras that turbo charged entire packs. All of these aura mods are gone which I think will make everything far easier. In the past, the problem wasn't turbo charged rare mobs most of the time. It was turbo charged rare monsters that got buffed by 8 other Auras. I'm pretty sure mods that make builds unplayable like Rejuvenating will be looked at |

Will Rejuvenating even be in the Game?
I would assume only the Base mods can Roll not the recipes? Not sure though. Pretty sure it will not be that bad. There were deadly mod combinations on Rares before the change. Maybe with some tuning i can imagine it will even make rares easier and less deadly. I am very excited for the new league. I think the Atlas and Endgame changes are nice. Not sure about the league Mechanic itself though. Depends on how interesting the rewards really are. | |
I don't think regular map rare mobs will be sporting those ridiculous T4 archnemeis mods in combos with eachother. Some combinations of modifiers in Archnemesis league were extremely hard, but these were mostly juiced af recipes out of T3+T4 mods. You're not going to see that in regular mapping content. Not even all rare mobs will have 4 archmenesis mods lol.
This is a good change, sorting the mod mess. Currently rare enemies have a fucking drop-down list of 15 mods, but like 13 of them do nothing anyway. Proximity Shield and Soul Eater were the only ones that I cared for. Soul Eater could snowball out of control in particular. What needs to go is reflect as a map mod. This is by far the most sucky modifier on a map. You either run a map or don't. I really don't like the idea of mods that completely exclude a character from content. I mean, no leech kinda sucks but is doable, cannot regen also, if you pair both of those it will exclude but that's rare and i don't even think this can happen. Reflect also means that this new "randomonium" keystone is useless. Gl getting thrown into reflect map at random lol. |

" Well depends on how BAD it is right If every build except for a handful are playable Yea I probably won't be playing the league/game till they fix it I do except alot of threads and complaints to come about these new mods, again they haven't given us a shred of info yet |

" Yes, I'm very happy when I think about proximity shield going away, that is a good change but then again, new archnemesis mods will cause new problems. So we are basically going from one cancer to another. Reflect maps are also a problem, it literally means you cannot complete a map. This gives of course a feeling of control and what you can do or can't do but in PoE reflect map is too heavy in my opinion. I think reflect mods should disappear. It would be better if some mobs would be like resistant to DMG. Magical or physical 50% or so but reflect is bulls*it which completely shuts you down and it is sad to see when a good high tier juiced map must be sold or thrown away. Seriously, I'd rather see some mobs resistant to certain type of dmg than full reflect map. And GOOD RIDDANCE proximity shield. F*CK this mod! New mute system is terrible - no trade...
