Do you think Whispering ice will be a thing in POE2?

" Unfortunately, I highly doubt it from what we've seen. The game seems to work differently and with new mechanics. I'm not sure cycloning with CwC will be in the game with how every skill has a movement attached to it. Good news is, though, that PoE1 is still continuing and getting new leagues, so WI will still be updated and useful. Though of course, with the closed beta one year away, we're looking at a year and a half or two years before PoE2 and a lot could change until then. |

Now obviously things might have changed since then, but with GGG reiterating their intent to bring many iconic poe1 uniques to poe2 I still feel pretty confident that we'll have a Whispering Ice in poe2. Now whether we can make a similar build to this or we have to completely change how we play is an entirely different question that we won't have an answer to until much later. | |
" I want to believe, but in 2019, PoE2 wasn't even a different game, just a big update. We'll see. Cyclone CwC definitely seems dead, though. Self-cast on mobs might be more feasible with the new game. It's going to be super interesting to follow! |

Hey I just want to give Kelvynn my appreciation for this Whispering Ice build. I've been coming back to it many times over now and I am so happy to have such a easy to engage with guide that lives up to the hype. It can clear anything and the upgrade progression of the build is just so smooth.
