It's time for GGG to take back reigns of trade for the sake of the game

On the original topic, GGG has sided with TFT and declared them 100% innocent. TFT is immune from ever being punished for all eternity, whether guilty or innocent (we'll never know.) If GGG changes their mind the entire company will get dragged through the mud and they'll lose millions of dollars and all player goodwill. If coordinated shady business is going on I'm afraid it's permanently a fixture of PoE now.

Can you link me that official statement?

RMT caused Standard to be an economic graveyard. If you funnel real money into the crafting aspect, you get the best items much faster on a server. These items will be mirorred and all the rest becomes worthless as they practically can't be sold anymore for a fair price.

Also if there is so much RMT involved in a temp league, why bother playing that ratrace? Most of these achievements are bought anyway.

This game is being advertised as non-pay-to-win but in reality?

Cause some people enjoy the new league content along with a fresh start every league rather than playing on a dusty graveyard like standard.
People play cause they enjoy the game, doesn't change the fact that rmt ruins a lot of both markets in different ways.
Just look at the HC economy and how good the market works with less involvement of rmt and market board manipulation.
Sc could be the same if they ever decide to take actions against tft/rmt and so on. But hey you can still play somewhat fine without rmt, henced it's not even close to p2w

More like the majority layers would highly welcome actions against tft, and changes to make the game less revolving around this dirty hole.
Only the minority would be upset about it, but sure cause they would lose power for their dirty business.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

afaik it doesnt exist.

from what i understand one of the guys that runs tft triggered an auto ban at one point for trading too much currency, apparently theres a cap on how many mirrors or whatever u can shift around at a time before the system just rings an alarm and locks you down? i dunno.

from what i heard the system locked him out, he went to ggg and said hey, im fking elon musk over here playing poker with billion $ notes, this whole cant move a billion without getting autobanned shit aint gonna fly so they unlocked him.

i dunno if thats true but that was the word on the street for what its worth.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

The leader was banned 11 months ago to much Reddit hoopla. GGG unbanned him. Given GGG's history with TFT that's the same thing as GGG saying TFT (the mirror mafia leadership part) is 100% legit, free, and clear of all wrongdoing. There's no good argument otherwise.

The person accusing TFT of being a mafia style RMT organization still has not provided one single shred of evidence that implicates TFT. He's a pretty interesting character and I wouldn't be surprised if he's correct but he has to prove it. Since GGG says TFT is legit there's either a conspiracy between GGG and TFT's alleged RMT activity or TFT is clean (or clean-ish enough that no action can be taken against them.)

I'm hoping for conspiracy because that would be the most entertaining outcome but I wouldn't hold my breath considering no evidence has been presented thus far.

If only you could play POE just fine without TFT

Well you could, but apparently 364,671 members disagree.

Edit: which wow, was more than I was expecting

I am part of TFT discord but i have actually never used it for anything, and only ever sent 1 message there.
I am sure there are 100,000 others just like me.

Plenty has been presented, you just seem delusional about it. Plus, another video with more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfUMHddv84I.

More over, what part of this isn't proof?

"Yea there no risk if tft buys it". That alone is pretty condemning.

The only "proof" we have is the word of Gx3 that they did nothing. And that nowadays is pretty unconvincing. It's equally likely they fucked the investigation and had no choice but to clear them, and now Gx3 are cornered into doing nothing. No official response to anything yet, either.

Convincing evidence would be a TFT leader's account or known alt account being caught in an RMT transaction either to a player or a whistleblowing middleman. Or someone in the inner circle revealing private logs where it's outright admitted that they do it.

"There is no risk if TFT buys it" means nothing in the context of that conversation. I realize that people are aware they could be screencapped at all times and obfuscate what they mean but the context has to be clear and it's not.

The "evidence" presented thus far is that people in TFT who didn't play league had a crazy amount of league currency to throw around, the implication being that TFT *bought* currency or cross league traded. Cross league trading to get an economic head start (which is forbidden by GGG) is plausible, but more likely is that resources are pooled among TFT leaders to make economic decisions.

I want there to be evidence because it would be supremely entertaining but through 3 hours of videos zero evidence has been presented. I saw in his chat that he says he also has evidence implicating multiple top streamers in RMT operations. That would be even more entertaining. Let's hope it's true.
Just my 2 cents, but if the founder of the forum is directly involved in trading on his own forum or discord or whatvever, that alone is already foul play. I cannot run a lottery and be my own winner, it's a scam... I clicked on their page for the first time today. All those mirror items, wtf. They are running a giant ponzy scheme of some kind...

The discord needs to become irrelevant one way or the other, imo. It is in no way, shape or form a healthy economy, it looks very predatory to me...

Unfortunately the game is to fast paced and rippy for me these days or i would just play hc ssf. I miss the hc economy it was so much better, only played harcore 2014-2017...

I am not against 3rd party stuff in general, but the owner of a trade site shouldn't be the richest guy in poe, lol. Get your money via clicks and commercials and stay out of the games economy you greedy bastard ;P

obv i have never used this discord and will never do, so take it with a grain of salt, hehe :)
I don't even know what TFT is..
using tft should be ban worthy
you cant convince me otherwise
