I love that the comments on the YouTube video are all variations of, "take your time," "let them cook," "we trust you," and "thanks for the transparency." And I agree 100% with all of those sentiments.
Take your time, GGG! Especially since the extra time involves making sure our account database info is all working, I'd say the conclusion that is mission critical was spot on, and I totally support the decision to bump the date. Thankfully, I hadn't actually booked extra time off for the launch yet, so no plans of mine were spoiled. I'll just knock a couple of games on my Steam backlog while I wait for early XMas. 39 more sleeps... The artist formerly known as Waitubold. Taking the Lord's name in vain since birth, basically.

GGG I bet 95%+ of us dont care about the micros not being there on day 1 of a beta, big mistake on delaying for that reason, everyone would be alright if you guys come out and say game ready to launch but the micros will come in later until it was fully ready on a future path for the beta. Its new character models, new spells, new attacks, new movement, people buy mtx mostly to have an alternate visual than the boring common look, guess what new game all is new.
Do a poll and you will see people will prefer to keep original data and postpone mtx migrations by huge margin. |
