The longer I sit on restarting Settlers another time, the more I realise that it could have been such a fun event if more was changed and added. Settlers by itself is well worth revisiting, but for an event when the league has been dead for months, it'd be nice to have rune-crafting be more available, other similar things tweaked and some others ramped up. Just to make it a bit spicier than just the Lantern. I'll still play, but I wonder if I'll get that burnout feeling after the campaign.

Completely agree. I wonder if after a few days or a week I'd just to back to "regular" settlers. I mean, when it gets to end-game / build tweaking / playing content I normally would avoid ... what's the point in doing that in this "temp league" when I could just go back to original settlers where I've already got the currency I need to do/try those things?

For all the good things GGG have done in the past 5-10 years I can forgive a few mis-steps, but yeah, this attempt to keep things interesting in 3.25 is rather underwhelming.

Except it's not. If ppl were not to complain we'd have CW's slow paced gameplay he was trying to pull a few leagues back. The whole community shat on it and they complied. Just let the complaining to the ppl who are at least semi-good at the game and go on about it.

i hope they make all maps t17 because is really boring only do the 5 maps, t17 was not a good addition to the game
