POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

This is the 1st game which caused my pc to freeze up and when hard reset, go into an endless automatic repair mode and my pc couldn't boot to windows anymore. I never had any problems with any games ever and now I'm forced to reinstall my OS because of a single loading screen freeze.

" I tried this and it seems to be working. I have 24H2 and can't roll back. But I know the severe and total crash lock-ups started happening after this update. The only way to recover was to shut down the PC. The crashes only occur during loading screens. GGG, please incorporate this fix into your game! It's a workaround for now, but it's driving a lot of players crazy. |

As I mentioned here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3594126/page/223#p25683424 some people have confirmed that it helps. So, if you have a powerful processor with a frequency of more than 5 GHz and you do not have a 60-120 FPS limit, you will have problems.

I started playing with multithreading turned off. And lowest gfx settings. Feels terrible and a lot of stuttering. But atleast I dont have a pc that freezes continously. (CPU: 7800x3d, GPU: 4070TI Super)
I hope GGG will soon be able to fix these issues. Or atleast start to communicate.. |

Very weird how we get no more replies/posts/words about this problem. I love GGG but this is very disappointing.

I have the same issue, stuck on loading screens, I have attempted numerous solutions, except reverting to version 24h3, as I do not wish to do so for the sake of a single game. it seems we are going to have to wait for fix.

Tried 1 Week anything was posted in reddit and here. my whole pc locked up with 24H2
i gave up and installed 23H2 Windows 11 and since then, no crashes, much smoother gameplay. tried yesterday all day, 0 crashes. After the Patch today, the CPU Temp is also better. With 24H2 i couldn´t even play more than 2 hours I heard, that 23H2 couldn´t help, but for the most of RYZEN Processor User it works 100 % Последняя редакция: mikefanta#7972.
