Reinstalled Windows 11 23H2 version on sunday and I can confirm I haven't had a single crash.
This 100% fixed my issue. For those staying on 24H2, sucks to sucks. |

not having 24h2 installed, yet get constant crashes. so this isnt fixing anything

I don't have any crashes for the last 3 days. Fresh reinstall 23h2 + vulkan + process lasso disabling cpu0/cpu1 solved it for me. YMMV

I found that disabling/exiting Wallpaper Engine fixed it for me!

I cant believe how bad the crashing was on win 11. Guys I fixed my problem. So I was too late to roll back to previous windows 11 version 23h2. So I go the shits so bad I went and bought a new SSD and and installed and went back to win 10. Fuck Windows 11.

7800x3d - 4070 Ti Super - Windows 11 24H2
Game freezes up the entire PC, seemingly at random, while transitioning between Maps/Acts and also crashes occasionally in DX 12 mode. Switching to Vulkan fixes the freezing and most of the crashing, although some crashes still occur, just less frequently. I was a Closed Beta tester and the game ran perfectly fine a couple of months back, no freezing, no crashes. " exactly same case for me. funnily enough i upgraded my cpu from i5-7600k (i know) to 9800x3d and the former had no issues with poe 1 in the past, but this one has seemingly caused me to crash at least once per day. i started with dx12 on launch day as well and vulkan made it better but still causes hard crashes. "You feel an evil presence watching you..."
